Gorgeous Honeymoon Cottage located in Aliomanu... a short walk to the sand. Recently remodeled in March of 2020, the cottage now has a full kitchen and A/C. Thoughtful upgrades include a new larger kitchen area with new appliances, new windows, new flooring, and queen size sleeper sofa.

Tucked away on a quiet, country beach road, this tranquil cottage is perfect for those seeking to truly unwind and explore Kauai's breezy East side. The cottage sits on a large lot it shares with a private beachfront home. Beach access is a few steps away out the front door, to the road, and down the stream-side path. The beach is protected by a coral reef, located about 50 yards out. No big waves come into the swimming area. At low tide you can examine the tide pools or walk out to the reef in shallow water, though there are deeper places to swim and snorkel.

We are located in a rural neighborhood, but just 15 minutes (driving time) from Kapaa, Kilauea and 20 minutes to Princeville amenities or a healthy walk (about 20 minutes) to Anahola post office and general store.

Very clean. Good location. Listing is accurate. Well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed. More than adequate space for the two of us. I would definitely return and recommend. Just a couple of suggestions… we understand electricity is very expensive on Kaua’i and that it’s best to conserve use of the A/C. It would be great if the windows had screens on them so we could have opened the windows at night vs using the A/C. Also, would be good to have an inside garbage can with a lid. Other than that, everything was great! BTW… the Juice Hale just down the road (south and across from Whalers) has the BEST mango smoothies. Definitely worth a stop!

Our host Lisa was very easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to our various requests, we really appreciated that. The space itself was very clean and perfectly appointed for the two of us, the location was perfect for exploring the island. I would definitely stay again!

The location is awesome being able to stroll with our coffee and was the sunrise each morning. Hearing the waves crashing during the night while in a delightful cottage surrounded by tropical flowers blooming and wildlife all around. The cottage had everything we needed to cook and the plastic containers to take lunches with us were a great touch. The beach chairs and towels were really appreciated on our journeys around the lovely island. The cottage was easy to find, the best was extremely comfortable, the outdoor shower was great to rinse off our snorkeling gear and our feet before going into the slice of paradise!! We highly recommend this cottage as a getaway spot for two. The location gave us the ability to explore the whole island. Beyond the waves and the occasional chicken, being on a dead-end street, there is no noise to disturb you at all. Communication was timely and very informative, getting into the cottage with the keypad was simple and convenient, and we found it extremely well equipped for a vacation. Thank you

Perfect location near a little known bay with great snorkeling in calm weather. Lovely cottage has been remodeled from rustic to resort quality. So nice to have a functional kitchen and air-conditioning, as well as a gas grill outdoors. Our favorite spot on our favorite island for 20+ years.
