Completed in 2017, The Westin Nanea Villas is Kaanapali’s newest beachfront resort. The resort features 390 elegantly appointed 1, 2, and 3 bedroom modern luxury villas. Explore the area’s many sights and attractions from the Westin’s prime West Maui location or simply laze about the resort and soak up the sun in this lavishly designed haven for tropical relaxation.

This 2 bedroom resort view villa features 1260 sq. ft. of interior living space and comfortably sleeps up to 6 adults. The master bedroom is outfitted with Westin’s signature king size Heavenly Bed and the master bath features the Heavenly Bath complete with large shower, double vanity, and elegant vessel tub. The guest bedroom features an additional king size Heavenly Bed and the guest bathroom features the guest Westin Heavenly Bath with bathtub and vanity. There is HD TV in both bedrooms and the living room, and the living room features a DVD player and a Bose Wave radio.

The fully equipped kitchen area features a range and oven, along with a full-size refrigerator, toaster, blender, sink, and dishwasher and all the necessary cookware and dinnerware. The separate dining area has a dining table with room for 6 and there is an en-suite washer and dryer. Enjoy the refreshing Maui air on the spacious balcony which has its own dining table and chairs.

The Westin Nanea Villas features a heated lagoon pool, separate plunge pools, and a children’s sand bottom beach pool with a waterslide. Touch your toes in the sand just steps away, or relax in one of the oceanfront cabanas. Savor a drink from the Inu pool bar, or enjoy one of the island’s fresh catches, grilled up on one the resort’s many outdoor barbecue grill stations. We visited Maui early in July to celebrate our older one’s 16th birthday! She was blown away by the surprise :-) We rented a 2bed condo from VRBO and it was just right- plenty of room in the kitchen/dining/family room areas for everyone to hang out during the mornings. Super clean and comfy beds in both bedrooms for a restful night. Unit had everything we could have asked for to make it a comfy stay! The resort is wonderful and pools were plenty! Staff was wonderful and the on site pool bar and restaurants had some wonderful food/drink choices. Beach was literally minutes walk from the property and was a hit - especially for some self guided snorkeling as well as making sand castles! Beautiful sunsets too! Place is situated close to Lahaina and a short drive to many activities ( parasailing, snorkeling) and restaurants. We walked a short 10-15 min walk to the food trucks on our last night to enjoy a different dining experience ;-) Definitely recommended for family trips to Maui!

The room and resort were as advertised. Communication with the property manger was easy and helpful. Check in and parking was a breeze. Most importantly the resort location, access to the beach and the pool were amazing. Overall we had a great time at this family friends resort.
