Beautiful resort and room. Everything was provided in the room which was really nice. Great view and ample space. Love having Dukes on the property. Our family enjoyed ourselves immensely. The only negative was upon a saturday afternoon arrival we had no hot water. Onlyboption is to contacted the proerty management company, and since it was a weekend and not an emergency we couldnt take warm showers for 2 days. Also, pools were qonderful but there really is no lazy river as advertised, that was a bit disappointing. Overall we had an awesome time and would stay again.
The condo was all we could have asked for! It was welcoming and had a resort style feeling with the pool and having Duke’s on site. Plenty of room for my family of five. When we travel back to Maui we would definitely book this property again.
This was a great place for our family to stay. The unit was large with plenty of space for my husband and I and our children. The lanai is spacious and a wonderful place to drink coffee or eat a meal. The grounds were very well-maintained with convenient access to both the beach and the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay - we had a fantastic trip and look forward to coming back!
We stayed here with our family and had an amazing time. We loved the resort, the location in Kaanapali, proximity to all the great beaches and restaurants. We loved it!
We had a great experience at Honua Kai. The unit was clean and had what we needed. It was great having 2 separate bedrooms and a full kitchen.
We recently stayed at Honua Kai unit 310, and overall it was a great experience, though there are a few areas for improvement.Upon arrival, we found one of our rooms had two twin beds instead of a king. We called the management company and were told we needed to request a king ahead of time. This wasn’t clear before check-in, but they quickly resolved it by setting up the king bed within two hours.The unit was missing a few essentials, like zip-lock bags, napkins, Tupperware, and foil. It would be helpful if the unit management provided these items, as they’re often needed in a condo.Some tables were not cleaned when we arrived, so we had to clean them ourselves. A quick check of the cleaning checklist would help ensure this is taken care of before guests arrive.The patio furniture needs attention. The cushions were worn, and the faux wicker chairs and tables had broken areas with sharp edges, which was a concern with a one-year-old. A little maintenance here would make the outdoor space safer and more comfortable.Regarding toiletries, two mini shampoo/body wash bottles per bathroom weren’t enough for our stay. Extra bottles would be appreciated, especially for families.On the positive side, the washer and dryer worked well, the kitchen was fully equipped, the view was beautiful, and the restaurant on-site was excellent. The family-friendly pools and easy walk to the beach were a big plus.Overall, we had a fantastic stay,
Our family of four had a great stay! Spacious rooms and living area with stocked kitchen and extras (beach chairs, towels, toys). The resort is in a great location and Duke’s is a great beach bar with delicious food. We would definitely stay again.
Has a lovely view and great amenities. Very comfortable main beds. We had hoped to move the hide a bed mattress in to a bedroom, to accommodate a toddler, but it is not removable. So there isn't a way to accommodate more than 4 people in bedrooms with this unit. Only option given by property manager was a referral to a local rental company. Also, in the winter months, the patio is nearly unusable in the heat of the day: in direct sun. Black out curtains block inside, but ac wouldn't keep up with blinds open during the day. Was able to enjoy the patio for breakfast and after dark.

We had a wonderful time in the condo. It was clean and well equipped. The resort was lovely.
We loved everything about this property! It was just as presented online. Very clean. Convenient location. Loved that it was so close to the beach. Enjoyed all the pools! Dukes was delicious and the wait staff were so kind to us! Amy worked extra hard to improve the mood of our youngest at lunch one day. We can't wait to come again some day!
Overall a beautiful place! Could of been 5 stars, but cleaning people need to do a better job. Master bath had urine on back of toilet, hair in shower, half a bottle of shampoo was all that was in there for us. Floors were dirty. Dont blame the owners, but they should look into new cleaning people. The place was beautiful and could easily be perfect with better cleaning.
The location of this property was just perfect. The grounds of the Honua Kai were very nice, however, there was some construction happening so the main courtyard had a large truck parked there, making it for an eye sore! The property could use an update on furniture around the lobby and pool areas. There were very few employees there to help when needed. The condo itself was nice. I was expecting it to be unique from the other condos, but they all looked and were furnished the same from what I saw. The patio cushions need to be replaced, they were worn. The little coffee shop at the resort was wonderful.
By far, we loved our stay here because of the location. It was absolutely wonderful.
