Experience the exquisite natural beauty of the Big Island. This beautiful custom home built in 2014 is located in an extremely quiet community 5 minutes from downtown Kailua-Kona. There are spectacular views of both the ocean and mountains.

There are 5+ private bedroom suites surrounding a saltwater pool and a huge central lanai complete with a bar, BBQ grill/griddle and big screen TV – great for gathering and sunset dining.

Enjoy spectacular sunsets from almost anywhere in the house.
Each suite has a private bath and private entrance.
1 suite has a queen bed, queen sofa bed in a separate room, living room, full kitchen, laundry, 1.5 bathrooms, and private lanai
1 suite has 2 queen beds plus a full futon couch and large living room area. It has a private balcony perfect for watching amazing Kona sunsets.

2 suites have a queen bed in each and a large lanai for sunset views and stargazing.

In addition, there is our Surfer cottage which has a private screened bedroom with a full futon and the best views on the entire property. There is a private half bath with an outdoor shower. Enjoy the sunset and the stars around your own private fire pit.

There is one additional cottage available on site with 2 queen beds, private bath and private courtyard (additional charge for this separate cottage)

The estate is full of banana trees, citrus trees, pineapples, herbs, and vegetables. You are welcome to pick whatever is ripe.

The house is close, approximately 1.5 miles, to a variety of activities for you and your guests to utilize, this includes beaches like Kahaluu Beach Park and White Sands Beach: major department stores and boutiques, and dining choices range from fast food to fine dining restaurants.

You and your guests will never want to leave!

The home and entire property were well maintained. We had a party of 14 (10 adults, 4 children) ranging from the ages of 70 years old to 6 years old. There were many amenities that were helpful for our stay such as laundry products, cleaning supplies, beach umbrellas, coolers, etc. What wasn’t pictured was the fire pit, that was nice for the kids to do s’mores. Lastly and most importantly, the owners were responsive and helpful. They even were kind enough to get a crockpot for my family to use. Overall, great experience to add to our family memories.

Love this property. The owners are lovely. It’s the old, real Hawaii. You will love it. Do your beach research early. We liked the one near 4 seasons. Access is tricky though. Kitchen set up is a bit different. Plan on grilling every meal and keeping other stuff simple.

First and foremost, the pictures simply don’t do justice to this amazing paradise! The entire place is is just gorgeous from the grounds to bungalows to the pool. We were a group of 10 ranging in age from 43 to 67. There was more than enough room for everyone to have to their own space and not feel like you were on top of one another. The kitchen (both indoor and out) were very well stocked with everything you could ever need to prepare meals, which we did did daily. Plenty of towels, coolers etc for adventures. The pool was absolutely fabulous! The temperature was always perfect and there were lots of fun floaty things. Josh and Esther were fabulous! All communications from booking to arrival to Esther checking in to make sure everything was going well, was easy. Esther even had a beautiful birthday bouquet waiting on arrival. We had to contact Esther for 1 small problem which was checked on immediately. All in all it was nothing less than perfect and the whole group would go back in a second!!

Promise Tree was a wonderful property for our family get away. We were 4 families, 2 with infants, 1 family with kids under 9 and we needed spaces to accommodate the little ones. We found the description online didn’t describe the room set up as accurately as we thought and once we sorted all that out with the use of the extra cottage it worked out perfectly for us! We rarely used the kitchen to eat because the lanai is absolutely beautiful and very functional. We never sat inside even when it was raining out. The bbq and flat top grill were very well used and very functional. The pool was a highlight for the kids young and old and there was quite an assortment of pool toys available for our use. We really appreciated having the use of baby equipment: booster seat, play pen, beach tent etc and having a variety of beach items available: chairs, mats, toys, towels! If we ever head back this way with the family we would absolutely look at this property again, it’s perfect for a family get away!
