Was a great place to have all the family together for our vacation.
We had a very enjoyable week here. There was plenty of space for our crew of 12 (ages 10 months to 73). We would definitely rent again.
Wonderful house for a large family vacation and extras for a beach day such as chairs, balls, toys, etc. Loved having the ocean and town so close. We would definitely come back!
The house was perfect for our family’s stay. Beautiful and spacious. Close to restaurants and shops. That being said it could use some TLC.
First and foremost the Manager/Concierge Anne was extremely Professional, Accommodating and helpful for local information. She also stated if we ordered anything from local store she would pick it up and have it at the house for us. This kind of service and is not found to often. I know I travel every year for my work and know good service and Professionalism. Then to be in that house that was beautiful, centrally located and relaxing hearing the surf at night. Then to have the pool, when we were not snorkeling was great of our elderly ones also. We enjoyed the house for two weeks, and hated to leave. THANK YOU ANNE!!!! ALOHA!
Our group of 10 loved our stay at the Ke-Alohi Kai house. It was walkable to Magic Sands beach, immaculately cleaned, and well-stocked. All elements appeared to be well cared for, and everything including the A/C worked well. Hosts had thought of everything - beach chairs, ample linens, and even some boogie boards. Plenty of space for both relaxing and eating, but also plenty of separate spaces for everyone to feel like they could retreat when they didn’t want to socialize. Gated community made for a very safe and comfortable stay, and communication from Anne the property manager was great. Would definitely stay again.
It really is an elegant giant estate, but only close to the ocean. Can see more of the ocean and sunset from the upstairs lanai. You can definitely hear the ocean waves from the house. We did not use the upstairs open area with a pull out sofa for a bedroom, so, really only 4 bedrooms. Used a cot for one child and a large sofa cushion for another child. Overall, lots of space for 11 people not to get in each other's way, even in the kitchen. Fabulous rental, thank-you !
Our 2 daughters, their husbands, and their children, ages 2, 4, 5, and 6 stayed at the house for 1 week. It is a beautiful, very large, very nicely furnished house with everything our family needed. Everyone loved the roominess. The kids loved the pool. The surface around the pool is very slippery when wet! Luckily there were lots of beach towels, so they used some on the patio to keep the kids from slipping. The hot tub does not heat up but the kids loved it anyway. It's a lovely quiet neighborhood with a path to the ocean, not a sandy beach, but tide pools to explore among the lava rock. The check in was super easy. Anne Hubbard met us at the house and gave us a great tour and answered all our questions. There was a wonderful welcome basket full of treats, fruit, snacks, and coffee. There were plenty of sand toys, beach chairs, umbrella etc. for their use. The location was great, not far from beaches, stores, restaurants etc. It was a perfect place to stay!!

We had a perfect getaway staying here. 6 nights, 12 people, grandparents, friends and our kids gathered for a birthday getaway!Our host Anne was wonderful and got us oriented. The house is amazing and private, with our own little walkway to the ocean for sunset drinks. We had easy walk to Magic Sands Beach, and nice drives to beaches and snorkeling spots. It was a two hour drive to see the volcano erupting, and 1.25 hours to the top of Mauna Kea for stargazing. House was fully accommodating with extra bathrooms and all the supplies you’d need. Would totally do this trip again!
Loved the house in general; very comfortable, especially the abilitiy to open the house with the glass doors. Great view from second floor balcony. Very happy with chairs and beach items available for use. Showers were difficult to figure out - master handheld doesn't work. The pool was ok.
The property was all it was claimed. We had planned this family vacation to celebrate our 70th birthdays and upcoming 50th anniversary. The house was wonderful. The information provided ahead of our trip was magnificent and accurate. Thanks for a fun vacation and a week full of great memories. There was a total of 6 adults and 2 grown teens. The house was great with bathrooms for each bedroom and we all enjoyed it very much. Thanks again.

My family of 10 stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. The house has everything you could hope for, great snorkeling within a 10 minute walk, fantastic views, wonderful pool, close to town, and enough room for people to spread out. Real luxury
Our time in Hawaii was great! The house was as expected, plenty of space, comfortable beds and great location. Our only issue was the A/C wasn’t working properly in some of the rooms but the property manager was easy to get in touch with and she was able to bring us a few more fans and it solved the problem.
Absolutely loved the home. The home and the view were amazing! The host was outstanding, not only providing everything we needed at the house but provided a lot of local knowledge and information for a very enjoyable vacation.
This was a fabulous trip with many memories made! This house was great for the 11 of us (ages 73 to 8). The property manager was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly to the few things that needed looked at. The location was great, easy to enter and exit and plenty of room outdoors for the kids to romp and explore. The pool was refreshing but note that the jacuzzi was not functioning. There were plenty of beach towels and masks, snorkels, beach chairs and sand toys. I would return if back in Kona!
Great home in gated community with pool and very short walk to beaches. Great sunsets every evening. Perfect for large families or multiple couples traveling together
Everything was perfect for our stay. The location could not have been better. Having ocean access so close to the house was like having our own private beach and it was close to Kona for food, shopping and groceries - but not too close. The house itself was wonderful with all the amenities + some. We took advantage of the outside grill for a couple of dinners with fish fresh from the boat from Kona Seafood Co. Can’t say enough good things about our stay in Hawaii.
This home is amazing! It was well stocked and so much space for all 8 of us! It is centrally located with easy access to town and many wonderful shops. The beach is a short walk to go and view all the tide pools and watch sunset. The ability to open the sliding doors for morning coffee or to watch the sunset was such an added bonus! We didn't expect the view to be that amazing!
The property manager responded quickly when a few things in the home didn't work quite right and was a huge help when we all became stranded there for a bit longer than planned. Thank you so very much to the host for working with us and our crazy situation of our flights being cancelled. Your home is wonderful and we enjoyed staying here very much!! You have a true gem!
This property is hands down the best thing about our trip. It's hard to complain about being in Hawaii. But the location was perfect and the house was beautiful. It fit 10 people very comfortably and probably could have accommodated 2 more people easily. The host was great at detail and the welcoming basket was the best. It was a little sad that the hot tub is broken, but everything else about the house made us forget about it. If we ever return to the Big Island we will definitely stay at this location. Well worth the cost. Thank you for making our trip feel magical.
