This ground floor one bedroom two bath has new carpet (installed 9/2019), new furniture inside and out, new paint, and new a/c throughout. It boasts a large open floor plan where the floor to ceiling sliders in the master bedroom and in the living area all open up onto the double-wide ocean view lanai. There are two dining areas to enjoy, inside as well and outside on the lanai. The lanai has a view of the ocean.
Wailea Ekahi #8-B is in one of the best locations in the entire complex, just 60 steps to the newly remodeled oceanfront pool and pavilion, and steps to the world reknown Keawakapu Beach. An extensive renovation of the pavilion was completed in 2020, resulting in a gorgeous space to gather with friends or just hang out. Features include a modern open kitchen, community BBQ grills, fitness center, table seating both shaded and sunny, a book lending library, and showers with changing room for pool users. This tropical paradise is set at the bottom of the green belt surrounded by 34 acres of Maui’s most beautiful flowers and palms. You can see the sunset and hear the ocean right from the privacy of your own lanai.
Wailea Ekahi #8-B has two large spacious closets and two large bathroom vanity areas, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, SMART TVs in living area as well as in the bedroom, telephone service with free long distance calls to the continental US, and free Wifi. There is a king bed and queen sofa bed, both with mattress toppers for added comfort. The master bath has a walk-in shower and the guest bathroom has a combination shower & tub.
For outdoor activities, Wailea Ekahi #8-B is supplied with 2 padded luxury chaise lounges, dining table and 4 padded chairs, beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. BBQ grills are not allowed on individual unit lanais to comply with fire code restrictions. Wailea Ekahi features six community grilling stations around the property available to guests.
***Important: The pavilion pool deck, surrounding lawn area, and the Ekahi beach access gat will be close June 3-14, 2024. During this 2-week pool closure, the pavilion kitchen, covered seating areas, bathrooms, changing rooms, fitness center, board storage and BBQs will remain open. The Ekahi beach access gate will remain locked, and the side alternate beach access gate must be used.***

Loved this condo! Location was ideal, near pool and beach access without being loud. Very clean, no bugs inside. It was a last minute trip for my ten year old and me. Felt very safe, always had parking right next to our entrance. Would definitely stay here again if I came with four or less people, although we usually travel with our 7 family members

We visit Ekahi every year and really loved the location of this condo. It's mere steps from the pool and beach and has a great lanai. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The condo does need updating, however. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms were not securely fastened, there weren't any towel racks, and could use a bit of TLC all around.
It's impossible to not have a wonderful time at Ekahi so our family really enjoyed our trip.

The Wailea Ekahi Village unit B-8 was an exceptional location. It was extremely well equipped with everything a guest could possibly need. The lanscape was beautiful, the envirnoment quiet and the proximity to the beach can't be beat. It was a really great experience.

Don't get me wrong we had a great stay here. The location is prob the best at Ekahi close to the beach and pool and its quite the social spot as everyone walks past your lanai to get to the beach, which I loved, saying hi to every one and having a chat.
The condo itself, it is nice but I wouldn't say its worth the money for the price we paid even with the location. Its not really updated from my view. Half the outlets didnt hold plugs and just fell out or didnt work, the cooktop still has an issue that was mentioned back in may where the right front stays on high no matter what you set it on. Overall other one bedrooms that are much cheaper and almost as close we have stayed at are much cleaner, updated and set up with guests in mind. Theres not alot of reinvestment here, the kitchen, bathrooms and everything in general need some updates. Get that updated and its hands down worth the extra being close to beach and pool.
We also had some unexpected maintenance we were advised about a few weeks before our stay which ended up being far more disruptive than advised. My concerns were that the host company constantly had a difficult time getting a hold of the owner and the owner was hesitant to make it right, but several weeks later the hosts pulled through.
I notified the hosts during our stay of the issues above.
