The Kona Shores condominium complex has an ocean-front pool with a cabana, two bathrooms and a charcoal grill for barbecuing. It is the perfect location to hang out and soak up the Hawaii sun and watch the gorgeous Kona sunsets. You can possibly spot the famous 'Green Flash” at sunset as the sun sets behind the horizon. The Kona Shores is a popular location for visitors due to its close proximity to beaches and to the heart of Kailua-Kona with restaurants and shopping right along the water’s edge. Some of the activities you can find on the Kona Coast include beaches, luau’s, farmer’s markets, art galleries, jewelry shops, restaurants, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, boogie boarding, and deep sea fishing; just about every water sport you can think of! There are also several great golf courses nearby. With so much to do this condo makes a perfect home base to relax after all of your vacation adventures or you can just have a relaxing day lounging by the pool.

Spot was very nice! Property manager left us a gift which was a great touch. Super useful to have all the beach things - we used those every day. And the AC was soo nice to have because it got quite hot.

Considering that it’s a studio, it’s very comfortable and had everything we needed. Inside of the large bathroom, there’s lots of room for hanging clothes, a luggage stand, and lots of towels. The kitchen is well- stocked with dishes and appliances, and we appreciated the water filtering pitcher. We never had to buy drinking water. On the lanai, there were chairs, snorkeling gear, a cooler, boogie boards, etc. When we asked the manager about using the barbecue, he put out charcoal for us to use. There’s a dedicated space for parking and the pool and grounds are well maintained. We stayed for nine nights, and never ran out of anything. We were sad to leave, and would not hesitate to rent the unit again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come every 2 years and rent a condo. This place did not disappoint. It was super clean, nicely decorated, and had all the things we needed for the beach. They had 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, boards, hard cooler, masks and even an umbrella to take to the beach among other things we didn’t use. Which is so nice bc when you have to rent them, it starts adding up. The condo is a short drive from downtown which is perfect bc it’s a quick drive but also not so busy. The area is pretty quiet and they had a nice laundry area to wash cloths. They even had an app on the machines so we didn’t have to worry about changing our cash for a bunch of quarters! They were super responsive to any questions we had and we would def rent this condo again!!!!

Our spacious studio condo had everything we needed to enjoy our Kona vacation- it was neat, clean, roomy, had all the amenities, and perhaps best of all- perfect location. The condo itself has beach access, with an ocean side swimming pool. The location was perfect- a short walk to the Kona town center with restaurants and tourist attractions, but far enough away to afford a separation from concentrations of tourists. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!
