Was only for one night. Very nice accommodation. Wished for strong coffee in the unit (had an on-line meeting and couldn’t go looking for a coffee shop).
The unit was perfect condition for our stay. Location was is walking distance of many restaurants, bars, shops and beaches.
I never used the laundry service. I thought that the pool was too cold and the spa seemed dirty and heavily chlorinated. I missed not having a sink in the bathroom. Kitchen and bathroom shared a sink. Location was very convenient. WiFi worked; but I never figured out how to get specific TV stations. It was all sports. But it was cozy and comfortable.

bedroom area was very nice, clean and spaciousKitchen is very simple with sink and small fridge. Bathroom small but functional. Great water pressure in the shower. No bathroom sink- use the kitchen sink.
Beautifully cleverly decorated clean condo. Pretty view. Quiet. Nice pool! Fabulous location w easy walk along garden path to water and eateries. Fantastic host! So friendly and helpful with detailed info.

The condo was in a great location for us - close to Kona village. It was clean and attractive. There’s only a small area for food prep, so outside of a continental breakfast, plan on eating out. The room was more than adequate for our stay, and we enjoyed our two days there.

Beautifully, tastefully decorated! Also. Well equipped wirh anything needed. Even a little cooler. Lovely location. Close but not noisely so to restaurants, shopping via little path. From rhe 3rd floor, private lanai we were in the treetops with the birds. Just above a large pink plumeria. Could glimpse the top of a cruise ship between the palms. The pool and hot tub are open until 10pm. Sweet bonus after a day of aloha. Miss it already

We only stayed for one night, but we loved the location and how close it was to nightlife and shops. The room was as described and clean. There are no elevators, in case someone is expecting that as this is on the 3rd floor. The neighbor greeted us when we got to the apartment. Everyone was friendly! Thank you!

Perfect location, close to restaurants, shops and beach. We walked everywhere. The condo was sparkling clean with all needed amenities. The condo was beautifully decorated and air conditioning worked well. We loved the overall feel of the Kona Islander. We hope to return soon! The cat in the lobby was adorable and so sweet!
Check in was a breeze, clear & easy instructions. Condo was perfect size. Great air conditioner ( a must for the summer), and amazingly close to restaurants/the beach. Had a great stay and would highly recommend to anyone. Cute decor too! Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Loved the cats around the property too (:
Right next to the Farmer’s market, a breezy walk along the breakwater from my kids’ hotel, this apartment was cool and inviting. I especially enjoyed the decor and original art.

I wanted to be close to center of town and close to beach. I loved this place. The beach is just a block away. And it’s not far to walk to the pier, beaches, restaurants, shops. It’s quiet here and lush trees surround you. The geckos and birds came to visit daily on the balcony. Perfect for my weeklong getaway over the Fourth of July. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing place that is still close to fun activities.
The place was clean. The property grounds were cute, with a lot of nature surrounding. It was also a nice surprise that it was next door to a Catholic Church. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance. I have no real complaints, but I don't think I would stay here again. It was close to the water, but not any beach that we actually would want to relax at. We would stay more north next time because that's where the beautiful beaches are. Another random quirk was that the kitchen sink & bathroom sink were the same. It was kind of awkward to have my toiletries right there as I was making sandwiches for the beach. Counter space was lacking for it being a shared spot. All in all, the place served its purpose - aka a quiet, safe place to sleep at night. I'd recommend having a rental car if you plan to stay here. My husband and I prefer to just walk places, though, so we didn't have a rental. We ended up ubering to the beach every day. Also, the weather was always sunnier more north. Communication with the owner was spot on, which was a positive!

We loved our stay. So close to the ocean and just steps away from all the restaurants, convenience stores and specialty shops. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning, seeing and hearing the birds in the flowering trees, and watching cruise ships come and go.The air conditioner worked well and there was also a floor fan which we used at night. We could have our choice of sun and shade as we lounged at the pool which was clean and the perfect temperature to cool down in.For those with mobility issues, there are stairs to climb, as the room is on the third floor.
