This is a really nice property in an excellent Princeville location. The property is not too large which makes it easy to get around, and despite being at capacity when we visited, it never seemed crowded. There is nearby access to a public beach with good snorkeling — it is a nice wide path but it is a bit of a steep hike to get there, so pack light and be prepared for a workout getting back up.
We ended up getting an amazing ocean view room even though we didn’t have a room assigned until we showed up at the Westin. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious (2 adults and 2 teens). The full kitchen was nice as there are not a lot of restaurants nearby and they close early, but there is a Foodland to stock up the fridge for your stay (decent selection and they have great poke). The little market on the property has good coffee but not much else, so be prepared for multiple Foodland trips.
Also be prepared to be woken up at sunrise by one of the many roosters on property - a bit annoying but that’s part of the Kauai charm.
Overall we had an amazing stay and would definitely return to the Westin.
