Enjoy everything Princeville has to offer with its stunning mountain views right off the lanai, sunsets at the lookout a few steps away, walking distance to 1 Hotel with incredible ocean views and fine dining. Additionally a 5 minute drive to Hanalei Bay for daytime fun in the sun or a 15 minute drive to the end of the road for snorkeling at Tunnels or Ke'e, and hiking Hanakapiai. Also, Princeville Shopping Center and Makai and Prince Golf Courses.
Hale Moi 112 is divided into two units; Units 112 A & B, each approx. 500 sq ft, and each having its own lockable, private space. The only common area is the entry hallway before proceeding to your unit.
This unit is considered a one bedroom unit by the County of Kauai but functions like a studio as the 'bedroom' does not have walls.
There is no formal kitchen with major cooking appliances nor a washer and dryer and we limit stays to 5 nights because of this. Please plan and pack accordingly.
We've stocked as much as possible in the unit so you can eat and enjoy without major cooking appliances; included are a rice cooker, crockpot, blender, coffee grinder, colander, toaster, microwave, drip coffee maker, plates, cups, wine glasses, cutlery, utensils, flatware, etc. Beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs are also included.
Hawaii Life Rentals is a locally owned, licensed real estate company with rentals on Kauai, Maui, Oahu, and Hawaii. We offer on-island personal assistance and Concierge services.
Rates do not include taxes, cleaning and applicable fees.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. As soon as we walked in, I immediately thought it was way better in person than it looked in the pictures. The wifi password pointed out that it was like being in a treehouse. It definitely has that vibe. We could see the top of the napali coast from the lanai. All the lush tropical plants/forest with the birds chirping was lovely as well. A great view to wake up to each morning. The bed was really comfy as well. Parking was weird so if you hate walking that might bug you. We were in paradise, so it was hard for me to be that annoyed about it. But if youre an older person, it might not be for you. Getting to the apartment after 8, left us with very few permit spots to park in, and sometimes required us to walk up a steep hill to get there. All in all, I highly recommend. Beautiful property!

What we were particularly grateful for was the walkability of this place. Just ten minutes away is the 1 Hotel where you can have a nice dinner, drinks, and an unbeatable view of Hanalei Bay. There's also Hideaway Beach, another short walk from the property with wonderful snorkeling!
My only complaint about this place is parking. The "permit-only" rule is somewhat complicated. You're only allowed to park in designated spots and there were several times where we would come back at the end of the day, only to find that all the spots were taken by people without permits, leaving us with no parking option. It was a little stressful and confusing at times.
Besides that, I highly recommend this place to stay and Martie was a wonderful and communicative host.

This VRBO had everything we needed and was in a GREAT location. It is really close to a beach and a lookout that’s great for sunsets and we ended up loving the mountain views from the patio. The added bonus of having some beach chairs and towels to use ended up really coming in handy! The place is cute and cozy and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had everything we needed for stay, kitchen was stocked, beach items were included- cooler, chairs and towels. Martie was so helpful with promptly answering any questions we had. The location is so beautiful especially looking out the lanai to the mountains, foilage and even a rainbow welcomed us our first morning there. We were able to walk down to Hideaway Beach (wear appropriate footwear, its steep) and we also walked over to Queens bath (again wear good footwear). It’s a perfect location if you want to explore the area for the price
It’s a little harder to get to the beach because you have to walk down the steep hill, but the views are amazing.
The only negative we had about the condo was it needed more towels, you get 4 towels total for 3 night stay. The beach towels are old and worn, The bed pillows were extremely dirty and uncomfortable. sitting out on the deck was a little tough because it was not very clean and patio furniture was questionable.
When we went to use the dishes, they were also some plates that were dirty. You have to wash your own dishes and I don’t think the people before us did. They should check before the rent it that it is clean. Little things like the lamp shades were dirty. All that adds up, just need a good clean.
The condo space is comfortable, quiet and accommodating,
I would recommend but know it’s the location and quite that makes this a good place to stay.
