Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other ...

It appears cleans but when you look at the condo you realized that the clean done is not sufficient. Should have a deep cleaning, the baseboards have dirt since many years ago. The floor corners and sliding door tracks are not clean. Found a human hair clump under the bed.
The calling the Management phone line provided is useless since the mailbox is full. When I did reach out by email since the condo did not have an cover for the iron and the ice maker was not working, they quickly delivered the iron cover and one ice tray. Beds were comfortable and plenty of fresh towels. Great location and the amenities for the condo.
Easy check-in and check-out.
Will not stay at this condo next time .

This condo was in an excellent location and the check in process was quite easy. A day or two into our stay a cockroach made an appearance. Because it was by the door, we chose to not let it bother us because we figured it probably came in from the door. A few days later we saw another one also by the door. Again we decided not to let it ruin our vacation. Then one night I felt something crawl on me in the middle of the night. It was a dang cockroach! Disgusting!! The next morning I kept calling VRBO and the condo manager with no success. It wasn’t until my husband and I walked over to their office in person and asked for help with this problem. They seemed very reluctant to help at first, but eventually they came through by sending an exterminator and changing out our bedding. It was all thanks to a lady who stepped in to say they could clean out the bedding for us. An enormous hole was discovered behind the stove, and they sent someone that very day to fix it. No more bugs after that. We were very grateful for everything they had eventually done, although they had not wanted to at first. We do lament having to lose an entire day of our vacation because we had to wait for the exterminator and the contractor to show up. VRBO, on the other hand, never responded. If you call their supposed 24 hour helpline, they make you wait for an hour to talk to an agent, but you never really do because they hang up on you. If you happen to find VRBO’s online chat, they also make you wait for an hour and then if you take more than a few seconds to ask a question or answer one they end the connection and make you start all over again. They are absolutely no help at all. I’m never renting via VRBO again.

Overall we enjoyed our week at Ilikai 1117. The unit was small but clean and comfortable. With three children, we appreciated the abundance of towels provided both for bathing and the pool. The unit doesn’t face the ocean but we still enjoyed eating our meals outside and people watching. Being close to the beach and having pool access was a plus. Also, enjoyed the Friday night entertainment and wished there would have been more during our stay. Even with a 4 yr. old we found we could walk just about anywhere. The market in the building is well stocked and just across the street is an ABC store and market.

This place was in a magnificent location with a great view. The check-in process was so simple and the owners were very responsive.

It was a small space but functional. Overall I like the area for it is near the beach and action of the city. I can’t wait to go back and stay on the same place.
