Mahalo you have a beautiful quiet home! We spent most of our time at the festival but it was a great place to get out of the sun and rest from the festivities!

We so enjoyed our stay at Paddles. It had everything we needed as well as things we didn’t realize we’d need until we were there! The quiet setting was perfect for us. We’ll absolutely come again!

This is a wonderful, private spot with views of fields and ocean. We saw 16 different kinds of birds from the wrap around porch. Orchids have been planted in the shade trees - 3 different varieties were blooming. There is a gentle breeze, lounge chairs and a comfortable couch. It's truly lovely. We hope to return.
The property gave us everything we expected and the listing was accurate. There is another rental property very close by that is very small (for a couple or a single). There was no one staying there the 3 nights we were at this property, and I don’t think it wouldChange the experience much, but it is worth noting that it’s not a private 3 acres. There are goats close by which my boys found to be entertaining. The breeze and deck at night are nice for the sunsets. The property cools off quickly when you open the windows. CentrallyLocated to a lot of the island has to offer.
Recommended for excellent territorial and ocean views. We live on Island, Hilo side. We occasionally visit the leeward Kohola area to visit beaches and our favorite restaurant in that area, Ciprianos Kitchen in Kawaihae.
Nice little place on top of the hill with terrific ocean views. Owners were very responsive the one time we needed help…would certainly stay here again!
Comfortable bolt hole from which to explore Big Island. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great lanai with awesome views. Appreciated the cooler, beach chairs and umbrella… a great stay in paradise!
This is a spacious house and lovely private setting up in the hills with beautiful 180 degree views of the ocean, a nice private deck where you can see the sun setting through the trees and watch the goats for entertainment in the side yard. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
We loved our stay in the big house at Simon and Lisa's VRBO in Kohala Estates. Very well provisioned, clean, quiet, private, great location, and the sunset views from the deck were amazing. Simon and Lisa were friendly and helpful, but gave us our privacy. The wrap around deck was great - nice views no matter where you stood. We even saw whales breaching in the ocean from the west deck - lovely! We had everything we needed and then some. The beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards were welcome extras. No air conditioning was a plus (we dislike it) as the breezes and elevation made it very comfortable in the house. We didn't want for a thing - this place had it all. If we could give it ten stars, we would. We will definitely return!

This was our second time staying here. We love the location, which is close to Kohala coast beaches and offers beautiful ocean and sunset views from the home itself. The house is clean, quiet and has everything we needed (full kitchen, washer/dryer, coolers and boogie boards to borrow). The owners are easy to reach with any questions - thank you for another great stay!

Quiet and peaceful house with great views. Helpful and friendly hosts. Everything we needed for a great week of rest and relaxation.
This property has amazing views of the ocean located up on the hillside away from the touristy areas, but still close enough to get to the beautiful beaches on the big island. House was fully stocked with everything needed and more. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the mornings when it was cool. The house does get quite warm in the afternoons and evening we opened up all of the windows throughout the day and night to allow any breeze to come through to cool off, only recommendation might be air conditioning units in the bedrooms for those really warm nights. Overall, would recommend staying here felt like home, very comfortable.

We visit Big Island frequently and brought some friends with us for their first visit and a 50th birthday celebration. This place was perfect!
The location was great for beaches and parks. The ocean views were amazing. The house was clean and well equipped. The goats on the property were fun to observe. Thanks for a great stay.
