From our fully air conditioned, beautifully renovated one-bedroom oceanfront condo, you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Molokai & Lanai across the tropical blue Hawaiian waters. Savor fiery sunsets from your lanai, or watch sea turtles, dolphins, or whales (in season) just off shore.

Many Papakea units have window-type air conditioners in the living room only. But our oceanfront Papakea home features dual zone (living room AND bedroom) air conditioning. This means that even on those rare days when the tradewinds fail, you'll always be cool and comfortable!

Your Hawaiian home away from home has been completely renovated, and comes with everything you need. The fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. In the living room, you'll find a smart TV, a Bluetooth capable smart speaker, and comfortable designer furnishings. We've also provided a compact in-unit washer/dryer for your convenience. The bedroom features a king-size Tommy Bahama bed with luxurious pillowtop mattress to ensure your most comfortable night's sleep ever, and its own flat screen TV. Throughout, the condo showcases art by local Maui artists. We've also included beach towels, beach chairs, a small cooler, and boogie boards to make your beach time more enjoyable. On your oceanfront lanai, our bar height lanai set ensures there's nothing between you and the tropical Hawaiian waters. And, because we are located on the second floor the A Building, you will enjoy more privacy and quiet than in any of the other buildings!

Please note: this is a non-smoking unit, and no vaping or smoking of any kind is permitted. Papakea is also a no-smoking property, and smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas.

Papakea's lovely, secluded tropical grounds cover 13 oceanfront acres, and include two pools and two jacuzzis, plus lighted tennis courts, putting greens, shuffleboards, and poolside BBQs. There's also free wifi internet, and an on site concierge to help you plan your on-island activities. The resort website - ResortatPapakea - has more details, as well as listings of many units available for rent (including ours), including some you may not have seen here. So if you're traveling with a large party, they are another resource you might try!

The location of Papakea couldn't be better. While Mother Nature removed Papakea's beach several years ago, you are just a short walk to the beaches and boardwalk ...

This property was absolutely fantastic! The property itself was clean, had all of the amenities we needed plus a few extras, the owner was very responsive and made us feel right at home. The grounds of the property were clean, well taken care of and offered leisure activities throughout the week. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back with just us and we might even bring the kids.

Our experience was so great! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and can’t wait to book again for an anniversary trip. We loved this property (the specific unit and the whole Papakea resort). Whale watching and sunsets were a delight and the whole place is very well maintained. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

The apartment was very clean and the overall condition matched the description and pictures on the website. Carol was a wonderful host and made all the difference. When we mentioned our prior stay at the Mahana next door, she went out of her way to describe the differences between the properties to ensure that we would be happy with our stay at Papakea (primary differences being Papakea oceanfront condos being limited to a height of two stories and Mahana having the bedroom facing the ocean as well). When there were issues with the municipal water supply for all of Maui county, Carol immediately texted and emailed me to make sure we were aware of the issue.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The condo was immaculate and stocked with everything for a home away from home experience. Nicely renovated! You really only need to pack your bathing suit! The owners were welcoming and provided tons of area things to do advice via email. Easy to work with! We loved our stay and the location. We are big swimmers and snorkelers so enjoyed being close to many great spots. Off the balcony we saw whales, dolphins and turtles. You have to look close and be patient, but they are there. Thank you for providing the binoculars -perfect! 5 star as listed. Aloha.

This was the perfect condo for our second trip to Maui. We loved the location at the far end of the resort. We found ourselves eating in more than expected and were so happy with the kitchen supplies - even a salad spinner! The view from the lanai is just as pictured and the condo is beautiful and spacious.

Excellent experience from booking to departure. Updated condo with all the amenities and a very comfortable bed. Owner took a personal interest in making sure our stay exceeded expectations. We will be back!
