Hawaiian-Style, Well Appointed Beach Condo. 2nd Floor Corner Unit for refreshing cross breeze and wonderful light. We have applied for and been granted the State of Hawaii STVR (Short Term Vacation Rental) certification (STVR-19-375514), a legal necessity to rent your home in Hawaii. Our condo is well equipped with an L-shaped Ikea kitchen with all appliances, great pots and pans, sharp knives and small appliances - everything a cook would desire. Boogie boards, Snorkel Gear, Small Coolers, Beach Chairs, Towels and Umbrellas make a day at nearby Hapuna or Beach 69 easy.

We love Puako!!! We have tried to make it so this condo will enable you to have a great and easy stay here. It was chosen and remodeled with ease in mind, with a flat screen TV's, Roku, Netflix and Blu-ray player, great Broadband and WiFi, and beds that are firm but comfortable. Both the living room and the master suite have TV w/Roku.

The waters around Puako are great - they are very clean, and three of the islands' largest and nicest white sand beaches (Waikoloa, Hapuna & Mauna Kea) are in adjacent coves within two miles of the condo. For those times in between visits to the beach, the condo has a nice, gated pair of pools. One is small and shallow, ideal for kids under 3. The other is larger but by no means a lap pool.

Puako is a relaxed, beachfront community, and this unit is ideally located to make your life easy and relaxed. We are next door to the quaint and funky Puako General Store - an incredibly convenient place with supplies for everything from breakfast to dinner, Hawianna and some snorkeling/fishing gear to boot. You may want to do a stock-up trip or two into Kona (35 minutes away with Costco, Safeway, etc...) or Waimea (western style town, home of the Parker Ranch, about 20 minutes away, and with a gigantic western style wooden play structure to make the trip fun) and you can spend the rest of the trip being mellow on the beach.

We have a map of all the best locations for activities ranging from a hand-built sheltered rock tide-pool to explore, to romantic beaches on which to watch a sunset. Toss the cooler in the car, and enjoy a different sunset beach within a 5 minute drive each night. 3 large world class beaches and one that we love are all really near by. Pick the beach that has the combination of sand, surf & snorkeling that suits your fancy on each day. During the winter Hapuna has great body surfing - with regular nice sized waves ...

Lovely place and we appreciated the use of chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear. Great snorkeling and tide pools. The only issue was beach access …flooding outside path prevented easy access on a number of days.

My family had a wonderful few days in Puako! It was definitely a change and down shift from the busy Kona area where we had stayed during the first portion of our trip. We were able to relax on nearby beaches (Beach 69 is amazing) and explore the north part of the island. The condo was modest, clean, and had everything that my family of 5 needed (including a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc). We watched some outstanding sunsets from the beach right across from the condo and saw at least 4 sea turtles while we were there. Overall a perfect ending for our first trip to Hawaii ❤️

This is the dirtiest place I have ever rented. Filthy carpets, dirty grout on floor tile, foil covering burner pans (fifties anyone?), black mold, insects, torn and stained curtains, stained mattress cover. I would not stay here again despite the lovely location and amenities (very well stocked).

We enjoyed our time at this property. Well stocked with chairs, masks, snorkels, boogie boards. Terrific little pool on the well-maintained property at the entrance to delightful Puako. Unit has seen some “experience” over the years and the owners indicate some refurbishment might be part of the future. Excellent news!

Rental is in a great location with awesome shore access across the street in a unique area. Excellent location to visit some of the Islands best beaches. Neat neighborhood general store next door, where we picked up a few premade dishes that were very good. The condo owners communicated well and worked with us regarding Covid uncertainty and check-out. However, the condo did not meet our expectations. The bathrooms are very outdated and in poor condition. The many curtains are stained and torn. The window’s necessary for ventilation did not all operate. The bedrooms have very old carpet with stains as do the area rugs. The outdoor couch has thread bare cushions and when we arrived there were 5 wasps nests on the Lanais. We really wanted to be happy with the accommodation, but were unfortunately unable to based on the condition.

We all had memorable times in this condo. The people we met in the condo were kind & friendly. And, we were just steps away from a shoreline dotted with magnificent sea turtles, our favorites.
