Our stay was perfect. Our family (including a 12 year old and 5 year old) were very happy with this property. Only two blocks away from the beach, it was just what I wanted. Although it rained a lot, we got two phenomenal days at Hanalei Beach using the abundance of beach gear provided for us. Not only was there boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, and frisbees, there were many wagons to cart your stuff to the beach.The quiet and secluded grounds were great for playing in the backyard or enjoying a peaceful breakfast. Lots of stuff in the fridge and non-perishables like cooking oil in the kitchen. We didn't really need the AC, but they had it in both bedrooms and the living room/kitchen. It's a 10 minute walk to Hanalei's main drag, which is very convenient for food. We got slices at the pizza shop twice. Note that the restaurants all close around 8 most nights, which can feel early to a jetlagged traveler. Slices run out around 7p. You can also find a small market, boutiques, souvenir shops, and a kayak rentals. I got to meet our host and even got some bananas they recently harvested! Excellent place and great hospitality.

We really enjoyed staying in this home. It is in walking distance to the beach and restaurants yet tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space for my family of four. The outdoor shower was a plus along with the very well stocked beach supply closet. The home had everything we needed during our stay. We would love to visit again.
Vacation was ruined when my husband was bitten on face in the middle of the night by a centipede at this property. It was disgusting to watch the critter crawling on bed afterwards, as my husbands lip swelled and pain mounted. We saught medical care , woke our kids up and left immediately (going back to pack up in the morning). We could not sleep well at all on the island as this event was so traumatic and worried about bugs at night-- i felt other potential renters should know of this centipede issue as i dont wish this experience on anyone. "Sleeps 6" as advertised also maybe a stretch--there was no sofa bed...just the 2 beds as advertised and one long couch. Also noticed many ants on counter in kitchen.
This unit has a wonderful location between the beach and downtown - both well within walking distance. There were four of us and we fit even though it is on the smaller side. Very clean and nestled in the jungle.
Very clean. Very pleasant. Both sets of upstairs neighbors were very considerate and quiet. Beaux was super.
The property was well kept, in a quiet neighborhood. The gardens were well maintained and even had limes for picking. Everything from beaches to restaurants were in walking distance.
Perfect accommodations for our adult kids to stay in. We also rented the 3br/2ba upstairs unit from this one with another family and enjoyed meals, and socializing together on one big property. Beautiful location, and beach is 2 minutes away.
We stayed downstairs in the two bedroom for approximately a week and had a fabulous time! Location is amazing, short walks to beach and town. Well stocked in the way you would want to stock your own beach house with everything from bathroom essentials (we learned to have an appreciation for this after staying at a different property that seem to ration soap like it was going out of style and only had toilet paper that is barely good enough for a public bathroom at a remote campground) to beach toys to towels to cookware. The stove/oven is on the back porch but it was fun to cook outside just like it was fun to use the outdoor shower after a beach day. Jason was a MORE THAN FABULOUS host and we felt like residents not tourists which is the best part of staying in a neighborhood rather than a resort. Only tip is to bring earplugs because the floor creaks a bit when upstairs residents walk around and there are roosters around the entire island which are charming but they are very, very early risers (4am). We absolutely loved this place and we were sad to say goodbye to the house, Jason, and his lovely wife. We felt like neighbors not strangers and loved our stay. Thank you so much. This cute hale was enough space for the 3 of us. My husband loved the outdoor shower and the lush tropical gardens! We had everything we needed. We wanted to stay somewhere close to Hanalei beach and town and this was perfect! We walked everywhere, it was awesome. The host and her son were very knowledgeable and helpful, we enjoyed talking to them. 😊This is a gem and we’ll be back! A Hui Hou!🤙
