Fantastic deck, easy comfortable furnishings, with the beach just 2 minutes away by foot. The neighborhood is quiet and calm so that most of the time you only hear the ocean breeze, birds, and the ocean. After snorkeling at all the north shore beaches, the local neighborhood one is by far the best! There are few shops nearby, so highly recommend grocery shopping in Lihue or Princeville and renting beach gear in Hanalei on your way in. The house is a bit dated, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and makes for a very easy, comfortable family environment. We can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! It was a 2 min walk to a beautiful beach with hardly anyone else there. House came equipped with beach chairs, sand toys, towels, boogie boards and snorkel gear. Really beautiful wood ceiling and beams. Highly recommend!

Property is truly amazing and just a short walk to the beach. If you want the north shore tropical experience this is the way to go. We grilled fresh fish almost every night and had amazing weather. Communication with Acacia was easy and responses were quick. Only catch is you will probably have no need for a morning alarm because the roosters take care of it for you and they do it early.

The lower level was very damp and the property manager was rude about resolving the issue We finally got them to put in a dehumidifier and air purifier but they were very rude about it. The place was so musty that the first night we slept outside. The upstairs was good but overall the place wasn’t very clean Great location though.

Cute little house perfect for our needs. The location is remote but has a nice beach just a short walk away. The house itself is a bit dated and could use a couple fixes in the kitchen, but that wasn’t a huge deal for us. Overall it was a good stay.

It’s a special place and we feel very lucky and blessed to have experienced “ this side of the island”. We’ll be back! Gratitudes are many…

We had an amazing stay, walking distance to multiple beaches. At low tide you can walk the beach all the way to Hā’ena state park beach. 1 mile to hiking on the Kanapali coast. Perfect place to get off the beaten path and enjoy Kauai.

The home was a perfect choice for our first week of our Hawaii visit. Location is quiet (except for the occasional morning Rooster lol..) Short walk to a very nice, secluded and sparsely used beach. Was nice to be able to be a short drive away from Hanalei but also be away from town far enough to enjoy the peach and quiet.
