Marriott Waiohai is a beautiful oceanfront resort. Guest understands that villa placement within the resort is at the sole discretion of the Marriott. While Concierge Realty will provide a confirmation specifically noting a certain view category as agreed upon in the contract, Marriott reserves the right to assign any villa of the same size anywhere within the resort as a result of mechanical failure, etc. Guest understands that the Marriott view designation does not imply or guarantee a specific vista, i.e.; guest will see the ocean, but instead only differentiates between locations within the resort.
The Covid-19 pandemic is considered a foreseeable risk. By accepting this rental agreement and providing payment information, the guest acknowledges and accepts the risk that the pandemic may prevent travel or occupancy of the rental unit and that this will not serve as a basis for requesting a refund. Unavailable amenities, pool, beach, theme park, etc. does not merit a refund. This clause specifically removes the obligation of the owner to provide a habitable unit, if the cause is due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

We had book two condos with ocean views and as close together as possible. One condo had ocean view and other was a view of parking lot. They were not even in the same building. After working with front desk we got a ocean view but not close together but two day without a view. Property manager was not helpful with issue.

Great great location, very clean resort, and with just excellent food at the convenient honu bar. We had a wonderful vacation here. Staff was ALL just great. Would definitely return

The condo was well furnished and the hotel staff was very accommodating. They provided us with extra kitchen items like a rice cooker, and extra baking sheets. The pool was smaller compared to other Marriott Hawaiian properties but you can’t beat the easy access Poipu beach where turtles and monk seals regularly hang out. We saw 16 turtles one evening. What a sight!

Overall our stay was excellent. The main pool could have been larger like the Grand Hyatt. The quiet pool and grass area ocean front pool should be adult only. Quite annoying when trying to relax with kids splashing and yelling. The rooms are great and very well maintained and appointed.

We enjoyed our stay, the room was very comfortable, even the fold out couches were comfortable. The location is great right by beach. Our specific unit was very far in the back and hard to tell which unit you are getting but it was still nice. The only downside was the loud hot tub right under us but they shut it down at 10pm.
