We stayed at this property in mid-August, and it was truly perfect for our family of 7 adults. The layout was ideal, with just the right number of beds and bathrooms, and the home was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, and the location was ideal - close to beaches, shopping, and even a little fruit stand up the street, which we visited often. The thoughtful touches made our stay even better: plenty of towels (including beach towels), shampoo/conditioner, soaps, luggage racks, and a wagon full of beach chairs and umbrellas. The only downside - and it was significant in the August heat - was the lack of air conditioning. We knew going in that there wasn't AC, but reviews suggested the ocean breeze and fans provided would be sufficient. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for us. Even with multiple fans running and all windows open, the house stayed uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to sleep. The bamboo curtains blocked much of the airflow, and the back room with the twin beds was particularly stifling. It got so unbearable that my daughters and I stayed in a hotel for a night to get a decent night's sleep. Aside from the heat, the home itself was absolutely lovely and well-suited for families. I would happily stay again in cooler months or if they add AC.

Great location on the island of Kauai. Description is what was received. Unfortunately, no air conditioning, but we powered through with the many provided fans.
Home was in great location with great layout and some great extras for the beach (chairs, wagon, umbrella). Walking distance to multiple beaches and pool was nice. We enjoyed our stay.
We had an excellent stay at this property as a family of six adults and two toddlers. The house was absolutely perfect for us—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was ideal, set in a beautiful and peaceful area. We especially enjoyed the pleasant walk to Poipu Beach, which was a highlight for all of us especially for the little ones. Communication with the host was excellent throughout—clear, prompt, and helpful. We also appreciated that our security deposit was returned promptly after our stay, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.The patio outside was a favorite spot to relax, surrounded by vibrant, blooming flowers that added to the charm and tropical feel of the home. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise, and we’re so grateful for the memories made here. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and well-appointed getaway!
We had a great time in this house for 4 days, enjoying the beauty of the island. A short walk to the beach. Very conveniently located to several restaurants and shopping areas. House is bright and airy, well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms and clean bathrooms.
Close to the beach, an easy 5-10 min walk. The beaches were amazing. Kids loved playing tennis and pickleball! Some days we wished there was AC but other days the ocean breeze was just right!
This is a beautiful home, clean, fully equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay including ample beach equipment for all of our family. All communication was professional and prompt. The close proximity to the beach and access to other amenities made for excellent recreation with very little effort. Thank you, Jeremy for your hospitality. Great home in fabulous location. Walking distance to pool, 2 beaches, and Poi Pu point. Home has several comfortable gathering areas and bedroom location makes it seem like everyone has their own suite for our 3 couples. Well stocked with beach gear and kitchen items. Enjoyed our stay and would return to property!
This was an our first time staying on the south side of the island and we couldn’t have picked a better location. The house is walking distance to great beaches and a short drive to the south side’s best restaurants and shopping. The house was missing a few things we needed but the host was very responsive to get the needed items to us asap. We would totally stay here again.
Layout of the home worked great for privacy. We are a family of 6 so twin beds with toddler railings were quite uncomfortable for some. Other than that, the house was very comfortable and spacious and we really loved the upstairs deck with relaxing views. The location was top. Central location in the community couldn’t be beat with short pleasant walks to 3 beaches. We had a small issue with appliances and the property management was quick to respond and resolved the issue. We would definitely recommend this property.
This property was everything we hoped it would be. Lots of room for our adult children. Great rooms for everyone to spread out in. The kitchen was perfect for family meals which saved us several times since restaurants on the island can be hard to find sometimes. A bonus was the beach equipment like the chairs, cooler and umbrellas. We left a few boogie boards for the next guests
My partner and I travel to Kauai each Christmas with my sister and brother. It can be challenging to find a place to house all of us comfortably. This space really worked out. And, was in perfect location…We walked the trails each morning, easily hit the beach and then the pool…We’d stay again.
Lovely property and location! It was great they provided fans for assistance with airflow through the house. We loved the outdoor gathering spaces!
There were some cleanliness issues with dust and dirty bathroom tiles that had clearly not been noticed
The property was amazing. Very beautiful, clean, and spacious. Any questions/concerns we had were quickly addressed by the property managers. The location was very convenient as well and we hope to come back in the future.

The place is in the middle of a paradise surrounding. Easy walking distance to the beach. Plenty of space for up to 7 people. Ample parking in a quiet neighborhood. Has access to tennis courts and a swimming pool. Me, mi wife and our adult children enjoyed the house tremendously
This worked perfectly for the 6 of us (could have had more people). The location is very convenient to ocean, pool and hot tub. They also supplied equipment for the beach and had an outside shower. Outside seating areas were beautiful (first level patio and upper deck). Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room in the kitchen for multiple cooks, great appliances. Plenty of bathrooms! Managers very responsive. Go for it!
Our daughter was getting married in Kauai and I immediately booked in Poipu as we have traveled to this island a few times and fell in love with this community! We had 8 adults and loved the location and the Hawaiian feel of this property. It had all the comforts of home and was well worth the value. I was a little concerned that there was no central AC but after that pacific breeze filled the whole home it was so much more wonderful than I could’ve imagined! The beaches were just a short walk away and loved the beauty of the community! I would book this property again!
The property exceeded our expectations. We were at home in this spacious 4 bedroom house and the location was awesome. We love to cook and the large island in the kitchen made of easy food preparation for our large gang. We were missing one key to allow us to use the bathrooms at the community pool but the manager arranged to drop off the key within an hour of our request. We couldn't ask for more.
We had a great week in Kauai staying at this lovely home. It had everything we needed, and the location is just right. It wasn't obvious from the listing that it's in a beautiful community. The path to the beaches is lovely. The snorkeling, hiking, sea turtles and seals on the beach, sightseeing, and relaxing were all wonderful.
My husband and I plus our two daughters, their husbands and one toddler grandson spent a week together in Poipu and this house helped make it a great experience. There was plenty of space for everyone with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kitchen was outfitted well enough so that we could make most of our meals together. It is a wonderful location close to beaches and stores. We saw turtles and seals the very first day and were able to snorkel around to find fish. The house helped us have a very relaxing vacation.
We loved our stay at Hale Kai Kea. It was spacious and worked well for our group of 5 adults and 2 children. The children loved staying in the back room with the twin beds and appreciated having their own area for playing. The backyard hammock was well appreciated by all. We loved being able to walk to Poipu Beach Park, which was a great beach for the kiddos and for swimming and snorkeling, and also walking to Shipwreck which was a quieter and wilder beach that was close to excellent hiking. We appreciated having access to the pool and hot tub. We also appreciated having access to the beach supplies like the wagon, umbrella, boogie board and sand toys. The only downside was the lack of basic supplies like salt and pepper and dishwashing detergent. That being said, we reached out to the property manager and they were quick to respond and to provide those supplies. Overall a great family vacation and a great house!
Spacious, clean, comes with beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, bathrooms stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner, full washer and dryer, open kitchen with island, large table for eating and game nights. Management/owner responsive to a few very minor issues. No AC, but we were here in January, so it was okay without AC. Not sure if we’d stay here in the hotter summer months. Overall a great place and location.
