MENEHUNE SHORES is a peaceful, immaculately tended, oceanfront complex located on the beach in north Kihei, a twenty minute drive from the Kahului airport. Shopping, restaurants, and excursion opportunities are just minutes away. Our third-floor lanai overlooks the pool and ocean, with views to West Maui and the island of Lanai. Bring your binoculars because humpback whales can often be seen from the condo lanai December through April, and the National Humpback Whale Marine Sanctuary headquarters and lookout is right next door. Our unit does not look out at other condos like many other complexes, just the beautiful greens and blues of nature. The solar-heated oceanfront pool, barbecue grills, and shuffleboard are located next to a small beach park which offers a calm swimming beach perfect for children. More grills and tables are located on the roof deck which provides fabulous 360-degree views of Maui, including Molokini Crater, Lanai and Kaho’olawe islands, and Haleakala Volcano. Protected swimming at the King’s Pond right in front of Menehune Shores is a plus for visitors who want shallow ocean swimming without strong currents or large surf. Turtles can often be seen resting near the pond, too. Pickle Ball players take note: there are five free, oceanfront, public pickle ball courts within easy walking distance at Waipuilani Park.

Enjoy sunsets on the ocean horizon in our two-bedroom, two-bathroom, oceanfront condo with a beach park next door. Located at the desirable Menehune Shores in north Kihei at Kalepolepo Beach. New air conditioning in the living/dining room was installed in September 2017; there is no a/c in bedrooms. This condo is an excellent choice for families, two couples, or a small group of friends. There is a queen bed in each bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room with an extra thick mattress. Maximum occupancy is five persons. Two full bathrooms are an added convenience. The unit has been completely remodeled and the owners keep it up-to-date. It has free, reliable WiFi, a washer and dryer, and two televisions with digital cable (one smart TV for streaming services). The kitchen is fully equipped for easy meal preparation and all linens are provided, including beach towels. There's a closet full of beach chairs and shade umbrella, pool toys, coolers, boogie boards, reef shoes, and more for your outdoor fun. Starter amounts of toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Once the complimentary products have been used up, it is the guests' responsibility to replenish needed items. Guests provide their own toiletries (shampoo/soap/etc.).

A completed rental contract and copy of government-issued photo ID of credit-card holder are required to make a reservation. Minimum age of renter is 25.
