This place was great. We rented a car which made it a great location to have as home base as we explored the Kihei area. Everything was clean and easy. Would recommend!

The condo is located in a well maintained community it has a great view with sunsets every night. The condo is mostly well stocked. Unfortunately there was no shade on the main deck so it was pretty hot in the afternoon until 5 pm. A canopy of some sort would be a great addition.

Overall we were grateful for the great location of this condo, located easily off South Kihei and close to some of our favorite snorkeling spots. The condo was clean and we loved the downstairs lanai and the bbqs as that was our main way of eating while on island. The AC worked great. The kitchen appliances were all nice as were the washer and dryer. The neighbors were very kind and we also enjoyed the pool. Mornings drinking coffee and listening to the birds as the sun came up was a highlight of our trip. Now for the dislikes, the mattress upstairs was pretty uncomfortable to the point that it affected our sleep over our 14 day stay. The upstairs shower is in need of an update or at least a new shower head as it was not comfortable and it was very dark so additional lighting would make it much better in there. The knives in the kitchen were pretty unsafe to use due to having little to no edge with no way to sharpen them. It made cutting our pineapples interesting. We loved staying here overall though and would recommend it especially if those couple of updates are made. Mahalo for making our return visit to Maui a great one.

The interior was lovely, comfortable, & clean. I also appreciated the quick & kind responses to any messages & questions I sent.One thing to note: when I booked the property, the photos showed a canopy over the main lanai. I learned after arriving - & then asked about it - that it broke & was removed. It was a selling point for me & I was disappointed to not use the lanai as much as anticipated. Also, the outdoor light for that lanai did not work. My husband determined it was a burned out bulb which he simply replaced. (I notified the property management & they thanked me for letting them know.) The smaller bedroom lanais were shaded with wood-slatted angled roofs but did not appear to have been cleaned as well as the main lanai. We refrained from using them. Also, the first floor bathroom sink drained slowly.Check the filter in the Brita water pitcher before using. We unpleasantly discovered it needed replacing & chose not to use it. Tap water was fine.The actual beds were very comfortable! The pull out sofa bed was squeaky so if someone tosses & turns, you may want ear plugs if you are sleeping on the sofa or in the upstairs bedroom. Some of the sofa bed springs were exposed but was tolerable with an extra blanket/pillow placed over them. This won't be an issue though if not folding out the sofa to use the mattress. When folded up, the sofa was comfy.Overall, management was friendly, generous, & accomodating when I asked about early check-in & about an additional visitor after having booked the stay. Much appreciated!Even with the small glitches, I would recommend this property. The property management did seem to genuinely care about the user's experience. I wouldn't expect them to know the issues we had if not staying themselves or being informed. Lovely grounds & short walk to Kamaole 3 beach which was fantastic! Saw so many sea turtles & the Wednesday weekly craft fair across the street from the beach

Enjoyed the condo. It met our needs for a party of 3, to be close to my son staying at one of the 5 Star Resorts nearby. Spacious bedrooms and 2 separate baths were great. All the condo needs is a white paint touch up interior doors and baseboards and it would be perfect! Close to many restaurants and beaches. We didn't use the pools but they looked nice and clean.

Nice condo close to many things in the area. Two pools were great. The reason I gave 4/5 stars was because the complex did not seem to be super little kid friendly, we had our 1 and 3 yr old with us and the pool didn’t open until 9am (we have early risers so this was not ideal), and the hot tub was very hot and kids under 6 were not allowed.
We absolutely love Maui Kamaole. It’s quiet, close to many incredible beaches and walkable to many restaurants and shops. It’s a perfect place to stay in west Maui. This condo was comfortable and stocked with many essentials. It’s a little outdated and well loved (could use a deep clean), but had everything we needed.
