Don't miss our drone video taken in 2021! The landscaping is much more lush these days, but you'll get the idea of where we sit in Princeville.

Perched on a peninsula 160 feet above the Pacific Ocean, on what many say is the best lot in the Princeville Resort, our 3 bedroom, 4 bath home offers spectacular white water views from Makana Mountain (Bali Hai) to the Kilauea Lighthouse. Secluded from the street with a private infinity edged pool and covered lanai, our 3300-sf home is a perfect place to experience island living at its best.

From the front door, walk into the expansive living room which frames the ocean to the north and features a sixteen foot built-in entertainment center with a 75 inch Smart TV connected to cable and wifi streaming. Each of the three bedrooms, with en suite baths, boasts unparalleled ocean views, Smart TVs, and quality bedding. A fourth full bath is available in the garage as a mudroom. The large, fully-equipped kitchen hosts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a killer view down the coast - perfect for any home cook or chef. The 400-sf outdoor lanai faces west where the sun splashes into the ocean from April to September of each year. Walk down the terraced peninsula and look below to watch sea turtles (honu) swimming along the reef, or better yet, if you're a strong swimmer, take a 15 minute hike and swim with them. No sand or exercise for you? Then simply walk outside the front door to a 30 foot infinity edge swimming pool and enjoy the sun and tropical breezes from there. An evening in the hot spa, stargazing in the dark sky, puts the final touches on a perfect Hawaiian day.

Weather is unpredictable on this tropical island, however different times of year offer unique surprises. Winter occasionally brings heavy wind and rain, but, with that, comes glorious rainbows and waterfalls cascading down the mountainsides which are visible from our home. Large swells bring picture perfect waves and, if they're big enough, you may watch the tow-in surfers braving the heights from outside or inside the house. Humpback whales leave the cold waters of Alaska and travel to our islands to mate and have their young. There's nothing quite as magical as watching a 40- to 50-foot mammal breach clear out of the water and splash right in front of your eyes. Finally the awkward-on-land, but incredibly graceful-in-air albatross share our community starting in November as a safe place to find a mate or lay ...

This property is simply amazing and one of a kind. The views are incredible and you have so many locations to view from. Morning sunrise coffee on the patio facing the ocean was a must every day along with sunsets on the bench at the end of the tiered yard. The property is top notch, extremely clean and well maintained. Plenty of entertainment options. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The garage was well organized with all the gear (snorkel gear, extra beach shoes, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, etc) we needed for the week. Rae-Marie was a wonderful host and always accessible to answers questions or give recommendations. Communication was outstanding before and throughout our stay. This property is a high-end retreat where you feel like you are in your own paradise without the noise and congestion of a resort which is exactly what we were looking for as a family.

A beautiful spot to relax and just be. The views from every room in the house are stunning. You feel a special energy when you enter the property. Private and tranquil. The garden is lovely with a variety of tropical plants and trees. We will be back no doubt about it.

Lovely and welcoming Princeville, Kauai home. Hosts are kind and sharing, providing helpful info pre-arrival. Views are spectacular - including visits from Nene geese, and whale & albatross viewings. We all had a great, restful time in this fantastic home! Highly recommended!

This is an absolute gem of a property. Located on a bluff over the ocean - which literally can be seen and heard from every room in the house. We spend the majority of our vacation time in oceanfront properties, but this was mesmerizing. We love the north shore for its laid back vibe and this is an ideal location. It was great to hike down to Sea Lodge Beach with literally the beach to ourselves and then snorkel with the fish and turtles. And the highlight was to be there during albatross nesting season, with so many albatrosses in the neighborhood. The house is very nice and well stocked, and could easily accommodate three couples and likely still feel very private. Rae-Marie was welcoming and incredibly responsive. We were already looking for our return visit before we left!
