Our family of five (kids 22, 20,18) had an amazing week at Honu Point. The property and the house are beautiful! We spent most of our time at the pool or having our meals under the covered patio. The views from the patio and from every room in the house were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed and more! It’s also close to plenty of beaches, snorkeling, hiking and restaurants. Hope to return sometime!!
We fell in love with the north shore of Kauai. This property is spectacular! It was perfect for our family. We can’t wait to book it again.
We visited Honu Point with our 2 daughters, ages 6 and 8, for four nights before heading to the south side of the island. Our stay was magical. The girls swam, did cartwheels on the lawn overlooking the ocean, sat and watched the sunset, and scouted out birds, lizards and sea turtles. It was a really special time. We will absolutely be back. Thank you to the hosts for thinking through every detail and making your home perfect for travelers and families.
This is truly a special place and such a unique and beautiful property. The only thing that my family and I were talking about on our way to the airport was how and when we could make the trip not to Hawaii, not to Kauai, but to Honu Point again! It is like your own private resort with views and the sound of the ocean from every room of the house including the master shower! Pictures and descriptions do not do the property true justice. We look forward to returning one day from NYC, and hopefully soon.
We stayed at this incredible Princeville property with our family of six (two adults and four kids), and it was nothing short of magical. The home itself had every amenity we could’ve asked for — from extra extension cords and USB-C ports to more towels than we could count. As a family, we especially appreciated the two washer and dryer sets, which made life so much easier.The kids spent hours in the pool and absolutely loved the infinity pool that overlooked the cliff — and wow, that cliff! It felt like we were perched right on top of Princeville, with benches placed perfectly at the end of the peninsula for taking in the views. It was stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset.The home came with thoughtful extras like pool floats, bikes, and super clear instructions to a nearby beach that felt like our own private hideaway — we honestly couldn’t believe it was real. Another unexpected delight were the Albatrosses as we came and went from the property — a small but meaningful touch that made the experience even more unique.Princeville is a beautiful area and even though it’s a bit of a drive from Lihue, it was well worth every mile. We also made easy trips to Hanalei and other North Shore beaches.Rae-Marie was an outstanding host — responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to creating an exceptional experience. We almost didn’t want to write this review because this place feels like I should keep it a secret, but it deserves the praise. Highly, highly recommend!!
This place is amazing! House is spectacular, location is amazing, and it’s the best stocked house of any we have ever stayed at. Any activities you want to do they have you covered! We will definitely be back!
This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and it is beyond wonderful. The views, location, listening to the waves - all are great. The whale watching from the patio, the albatross in the neighborhood, and the turtles while snorkling at the nearby beach are such fun. The owner Rae-Marie is fantastic and so responsive. We were sad to leave, and once again, cannot wait to return!
This property was truly beautiful! It was like living on your own personal island! Management is amazing! Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to relax and leave the world behind!
This property is amazing. It has the perfect layout for a multigenerational family. The property is spacious enough to spread out but also has great family spaces for us to all be together. Part of our morning breakfast routine was spotting whales passing by. The property hosts were awesome to deal with and they have literally thought of everything including binoculars, bikes, pool toys, coolers, a pantry stocked with spices and lots of misc, to name just a few. They even provide yoga mats that we used for sunrise group yoga sessions outside above the ocean.My only complaint would be that the photos don’t seem to do this place justice. It really is spectacular and so much more than we thought it would be!

This is an amazing home and property! We will definitely go back! The floor plan of the home is so well thought out with amazing views from every room. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked with very nice dishes, cooking pans and appliances. We really enjoyed all the different areas inside and out where we could gather or spread out if we wanted to. There are two beautiful dining tables with the most amazing views, one inside, and one outside on a covered patio. We did yoga on the grassy area every morning…best views ever! Coffee on the bench at the point was lovely. And happy hours on the other side of the house looking at a different beach and view! And of course the spa, outside shower and pool area were very much enjoyed!! We walked down to the private beach twice and loved it! We are all big readers and it was nice that there were so many different areas inside and out that we could spread out if we needed some quiet time. We were in luck because the albatrosses arrived and started nesting and laying their egg while we were there! The host was amazing and helpful! Did I mention the views! Oh my gosh, such a beautiful place!!! We highly recommend this beautiful home!
This home is well-appointed, spacious, and comfortable. The host and concierge service were both responsive and excellent (thanks Rae-Marie and Darshan!). The grounds and views are unmatched, this is truly a special spot. The walk to the nearby beach is fun, and just soaking up the scenery from the hot tub and pool was amazing. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Nenes flew by the living room window honking one afternoon, and other wildlife around the grounds can be seen frequently. We hope to come back some day. Mahalo!
Oh my! This property and home are simply stunning. We have never been in a VRBO that is so well stocked…everything has been thought of. The home was designed and built for this location and compliments this piece of property so well. The location…we can’t imagine a better setting on the island. So much so that you will find yourself struggling with the decision of going out to experience this beautiful island or staying in your own personal haven each day.

We had a wonderful stay at Honu Point. The location and home are beautiful. 5 stars all around. My favorite part was the walk to the beach down below. Great snorkeling and its private -like beach area.
We spent nine unforgettable days and nights at Honu Point to celebrate our anniversary. Rae-Marie was an incredible host who communicated so well throughout the entire process. The property was clean, well-kept, and came fully stocked with kitchenware, bathroom tissue, flashlights, towels, soap, etc. What we loved most about Rae-Marie and Tom's home was its fantastic, sweeping views. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise over the water, saw turtles swimming below the bluff during the day, and went to sleep after an equally beautiful sunset over the ocean at night. The property, with its lush landscaping and private pool, felt secluded, yet we were just a short drive away from restaurants, stores, and activities. It was so special to be there during the albatross fledging season. We would definitely stay here again, perhaps bringing our family next time, to share in such a peaceful, restorative, and sacred place. Thank you, Rae-Marie and Tom!
I don’t think you can stay at a better place! The views are incredible. To be able to have a pool & spa and a large grassy area, all with ocean views, is amazing. The house is wonderfully appointed and we had access to lots of beach gear we took advantage of. We hope to be back soon, don’t hesitate on this house!

The house is quite airy and comfortable throughout. The kitchen is huge! The lanai offers spectacular views all day long. It really was an awesome and relaxing vacation! We hope to visit again soon!
Honu Point is simply spectacular. The cliff setting offers views that are some of the best in the world. Truly. It is private and quiet with landscaping that feels like a botanical garden. As valuable is how organized, clean, and well-equipped the home is - quality dish and cookware, high quality linens, bikes, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and more. Enjoying the sunset from the hot tub after a hike or fun at the beach was a daily event. The love and care put into the property shows, and it made our stay that much more enjoyable. We’ve rented quite a few luxury properties, and Honu Point is one of the best. Thank you Rae-Marie and Tom. We will be back.

This is possibly the most beautiful spot on the island! Every room has a beautiful view. Close to several wonderful restaurants and a gorgeous golf course. Planning to return next year for a month! A week just isn’t long enough.
This is truly a beautiful property! The house had everything we wanted and more. Enjoyed whale watching each morning and evening from the house and the location is perfect for exploring this beautiful island. The property owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. Sorry we had to leave but have wonderful memories.
