We liked the place and we enjoyed meeting the caretakers who were delightful and full of good info about the island. We liked the idea that we were on a farm and a bit removed from the tourist area :)

My husband, daughter (12), and myself enjoyed our stay here! Being greeted in the morning by the cows on the other side of the gate, and the coqui frogs singing to us at night. It was a good little spot for our first 4 nights on the island! The only real downside is the proximity of the other unit. While we were there another group arrived for that unit and would come/go later in the evening than we did. Since it’s a shared gate the sound of them opening the chain and driving up was loud. They also had 4 vehicles (including a motorcycle) there at one point in what is a very small driveway, less than 5 ft from our unit’s bedroom window. Minor inconveniences overall, but if you’re looking for privacy and quiet, this might need to be factored in. The host was lovely to communicate with!
