The Space
Aolani Coffee Cottage has been featured in Airbnb Magazine and Condé Nast Traveler, celebrated as part of the extraordinary escapes curated by world-renowned artist Anna Sweet.
Inside, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, beach essentials (towels, chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, cooler), and thoughtful touches like a hand-carved ukulele, board games, and high-speed internet. The living room features a 60” flat-screen TV with full cable, Netflix, and a Sonos sound system.
After a day of exploring, indulge in an outdoor shower under the stars, grill fresh island flavors on the infrared gas grill, or gather around the fire pit with a glass of wine.

Guests will have exclusive access to the entire Cottage, apart from a locked storage room in the carport.

Sound Ordinances: Aolani Coffee Cottage is a place of peace. By staying here, you agree to abide by Hawaii County’s strict sound ordinances and our STVR permits.
Local Wildlife: Nestled in nature, you’ll hear the charming sounds of singing frogs, birds, and the occasional rooster.
Important Notes
Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted inside the Cottage. A designated smoking area is available near the carport.
Holiday Stays: A 7-night minimum stay is required between December 21st and January 5th.

The house and grounds were even better than expected. The camera can never do Justice to the vibrant colors of Hawai’i and staying at Aolani cottage proves it.
My husband and I were in Kona to squeeze in our honeymoon before the 1 yr date and watched our friend compete in Ironman. This was the perfect location to enjoy both.
If we stay in Kona again, we will be booking Aolani Cottage!!!!

We greatly enjoyed spending our honeymoon at the Aolani Coffee Cottage! It has the best of both worlds- the space, privacy and full kitchen of a rental, but also resort amenities (robes, concierge, hot tub, etc…). The accommodations were tastefully designed and very clean. We enjoyed the amenities- especially the outdoor shower, fire pit and hot tub! The robes were a nice touch too. We also utilized the concierge services and booked a private chef (Chef Gabrielle) and a snorkeling tour through Heather and Sheila. All were a lot of fun and went super smooth. The location felt private and secluded. We absolutely loved the ‘rainforest’ type nature sounds at night (from the rain and frogs), but this could perhaps be too loud for some. Be sure to rent a car (ideally 4WD)! You will need it to access all of the fun things the big island has to offer from this spot. We hope to return to Aolani sometime soon!

We were very relaxed in this rental that misses no small details for comfort and luxury. Sunsets over the coffee plants and the ocean. Stocked with everything we needed to truly experience the Kona region. A true haven to come back to after a day on the water.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and absolutely enjoyed the stay! Thanks to Heather and Sheila, they took great care to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The hottub and BBQ grill was great!
Beautiful sunsets every evening and conveniently located to nearby stores. Plenty of amenities included! Heather has thought about every small detail and had them available to make the stay extra comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place!
