Kihei Bay Surf Studio #250 is a freshly renovated upstairs studio with vaulted ceilings. Some of the updates include new quartz countertops in the kitchen, bathroom, and hallway, creating a new kitchen sidebar, new stainless steel appliances, a new split air conditioner system (2023). In the living room, new double-pane lanai glass doors and windows were replaced in (2023) which significantly reduces any noise from the exterior. Additionally, a new sofa (2021) was purchased and a new 55" flat-screen Smart TV mounted with the capability to tilt and swivel for your viewing pleasure. New blackout draperies were also added to this unit in (2021) for those who prefer to take the morning off! Enjoy a cool beverage on the new lanai furniture as you listen to the relaxing sounds of nature. New draperies and local art tie in the colors and round-out the renovation. There is a queen bed that can sleep 2 people. Kihei Bay Surf Studio #250 provides complimentary wireless internet service. Coin-operated laundry room on-site. Sleeps 2. Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available. Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation. Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. The Kihei Bay Surf is located in North Kihei across the street from the Whale Sanctuary and Kalepolepo Beach and an ancient Hawaiian fishpond. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, and cable TV. In addition there is a large pool, hot tub, tennis court, gas grills and common laundry areas for your use. Whale watch, windsurf, walk the beach and enjoy the most amazing sunsets imaginable. The Kihei Bay Surf is centrally located to shops, restaurants and is just minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena. This is one of the best values in Kihei.
** Important Update: A construction project is scheduled for April through July 2024 (estimate). The work will consist of removal of the old roof and solar panels, and installation of the new roof and solar panels. Work is allowed Monday-Saturday from 8am-5pm. This property was great for the two of us. The property was easy to find and all of the info we needed was sent to us before we even thought to ask. It was clean and perfect as a base for our island adventures!

We really enjoyed our stay at KBS #250. Not only is the studio clean and comfortable, it has all the amenities you need for a day at the beach or preparing a meal at ‘home’. We appreciate the attention to details. There’s parking and the unit is easy access to Wailea, Kaanapali and Kahului. The check-in and check-out process is a breeze. Would definitely stay here again. Loved this condo location close to lots of awesome beaches and restaurants. Right across the road from turtles on the beach! It was very quiet, except for a couple days as the roof was being replaced during our stay. Didn’t bother us too much as we were out all day exploring. Really enjoyed having the beach chairs, towels, and cooler for our use. Thanks!

Lights very yellow and dim. Lighting poor because the condo is in shade or partial shade during the day. There was no scissors or a coffee measuring spoon, or at least 1 or 2 safety pins. Other supplies were adequate. Also no sugar for even one cup of coffee. Other than that I have no complaints. But I think a guy must own this condo.

Reviewer Comments: Hello,We have enjoyed our 1 week stay with little to no issues.The complex is nice and quiet, the grounds, pool & BBQ are well maintained & free parking for our rental car is appreciated. (Let’s face it, you have to have a car on Maui).Our unit was perfect for our needs, great bed, great shower, great air conditioning, free long distance calling, free wifi & the kitchen is well appointed. We were happy to have access to the cooler, beach chairs & umbrella as well.However, the knives we used to prep our food are in dire need of sharpening! It’s the only thing that needs attention, otherwise we are completely happy.Cheers, Andrew.
