We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The listing was extremely accurate as were all the pictures. The home had everything we needed with lots of spares if we ran out. There was an abundance of towels (bath and beach) among many other consumables like toilet paper, paper towels and even ziplocks.It is sandwiched between two public beach access very short walks away. It is a 5 minute drive to the two Hapuna beaches which both have lots of great features.The covered lanai and seaside porch were perfect for coffee in the morning, eating meals as a family and watching the sunset.Watching the sunset every night was one of the highlights of our entire trip. Each night was different and all were beautiful.There was lots of space for our family of six to sit all together at the tables for a meal or be away from each other to provide some alone time.The General Store across the street was very convenient and had most necessities plus some nice treats.There were lots of personal touches throughout the home that just made us feel so welcomed.Then there were the turtles, they would crawl onto the lava rocks in the ocean that were exposed at low tide. They were so fun to watch emerge each day.Additionally, the host was extremely responsive. We needed to reach out a few times for some minor issues and they responded within minutes every time. They were extremely helpful and respectful.Our only regret is we couldn't stay longer.
The home was perfect and fully stocked with more than we needed. They thought of everything. Quality pans and nice oven made cooking less of a chore. The comfort of AC at night was so appreciated.
We had a great time! The views from the house were amazing and we really enjoyed the tidal pools on the beach area. This home has everything you need for a great vacation.
We spent 8 wonderful days at this property. Everything was very clean and the property manager was very responsive. A couple of things that you need to be aware of when booking: 1. To access the bedroom with the king bed, you either need to guest access the room from outside or you need to walk directly through the master bathroom and suite to enter the room. 2. The

This property is definitely for more than 2 people, but we splurged for our honeymoon. The home & location was brilliant and the snorkeling just through the back door was breathtaking. Highly recommend for those that love snorkeling or just want a private beautiful getaway. :)
We love this piece of property in the Puako neighborhood. It is directly across from the Puako store, and a very short walk to the sandy beach for snorkeling and relaxing. This house has outstanding luxury with incredible views from three porch/decks. It is spacious inside with accomodations for three couples or a large family. We see sea turtles every day, and spectacular humpback whales breeching.
Beautiful home and beach front. The home was nicely furnished., the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. The private nicely manicured yard provided wonderful viewing for whales and turtles. Puako was a wonderful place.
Beautiful oceanfront property hidden away in quaint Puako on the Big Island. Enjoyed hours in the spacious lanai taking in the view, watching dazzling sunsets and sounds of waves lapping over the shore. The house has a “unusual” froorplan, but is beautifully decorated and landscaped. The property manager provided timely and professional communications and the home was perfectly provisioned with everything that you could possibly need. Bottom line, this property is perfect for couples who are wanting a high end, private oceanfront home to escape to on the Big Island, nestled conveniently between the big resorts in a quiet neighborhood.
