Great communication with the host. We really enjoyed the stay and the beautiful setting. The only recommendation I would make is to have the dehumidifier be self draining, as it got pretty damp unless we were able to empty it at least 3-4 times a day.

Arrived and property was dirty. Flies everywhere, floor dirty and kitchen not cleaned. The outside does not look like pictures and there is no hot tub. False advertising. Outside seating is covered in mold. First day I poured coffee into a cup spilled all over my clothes And then when I went to do laundry the machine stalled and it took us over an hour to get it restarted. We spent hours of our visit cleaning and dealing with broken items. When we reached out to the property owner we did not hear back until a third outreach at which time she offered to have someone come clean but it was too late. She did not address the way the property does not match the pictures or property description. Do not book this place.

It’s a nice place to spend your vacation. Everything was exactly as shown. Sri family communicated so good to make sure we are having wonderful vacation.

The property was as described and suited our needs for our few days in Volcano. The property was quiet and private. We very much enjoyed our time visiting the volcano and were pleased we choose this property for our stay.

My husband and I stayed here with our infant (5 month old), and it was the perfect cozy cottage. Host provided a pac-n-play which made it easy to travel with our little one. The cottage is so peaceful and tucked away with lots of privacy. The bed was so comfortable, and all of the blankets and space heater made for the perfect mood to cuddle up in the chilly night with a glass of wine after hiking all day. The sound of the rain on the roof was so calming. So close to Volcano National park and only about a 30 minute drive into Hilo which made for a great location.
The only down side to our stay was that we couldn’t get the outside lighting to work (even after trouble shooting and messaging host) so we weren’t able to sit on the back patio at night like we had hoped.

Overall we liked the stay and surrounding of the property. Volcanic national park being very close is the plus. You can hear all the birds and insects chirping in the dark as you are in the tropical atmosphere. Only one thing that could have been better is some dedicated storage to keep our clothes and other personal belongings.
