The photos looked interesting but didn’t show just how nice everything at the house was. All the doors fixtures and surfaces you touch were so nice. The yard is amazing and was great for the kids to play in between their many trips to the beach. We loved the location. The kitchen had oils and spices so we could make a feast from the farmers market without having to start from scratch.
Couldn't have stayed in a better location. It's the right distance from the beach. The backyard is gorgeous, with a beautifully maintained platns and trees, gazebo and an outdoor shower enclosure. The property manager was very responsive. Wish the second bedroom was a proper bedroom, it's a small enclosed area and our 13 year old didn't want to sleep there. Bathrooms are well stocked and have fairly okay fixtures. Kitchen is equipped with all that is needed for a short stay. the laundry and dryer need to be replaced. You can't sleep when they are on (extremely loud). Overall enjoyed our stay and took some amazing pictures in the back yard and had breakfast in the gazebo.

We loved this house. It's one of the few beachfront rentals in Hanalei that works best for a couple or small group. The back yard is lovely and peaceful. The gazebo is the perfect perch for hanging out in the rain or sun. The one ding to this place is the lack of privacy with the neighboring house to the right. The two yards are completely open. Continuing the landscaping that starts at the outdoor shower onward towards the beach would create a more private feel for both houses. Hawaii Life was easy and professional to work with. We will be back.

Charming house steps from Hanalei Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love stay here again. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. There was plenty of beach equipment-toys, chairs, umbrella and more.

Amazing location!!!
Great place for 1-4 people/family. Technically there are 3 beds; 1 adult BR, 1 smaller BR for 1 and the living room can also sleep 1. Very clean place, kudos to cleaning crew. We never felt cramped as the back yard really opens up the space. Steps to a couple volleyball courts and then the beach. Summer brings kind of rolling clouds/showers, never really bothered us or got too heavy. There was supposed to be steady rain the following week, which might have put a damper on some stays as it’s not a very large house if you’re stuck inside. AC was great, kitchen got the job done, did fair amount of grilling. Overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot. It’s not cheap, but the location and property really worked for our family of 4. Lots of beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, etc.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Maluhia Hanalei. The house was perfect for the two of us. The location was an excellent spot from which to launch our Kauai adventures. We loved the open main room and the doors that open to the outside. The beach was fantastic. That being said, two adjustments must be made to the property. 1) the water pressure in the indoor shower is awful. 2) the outdoor shower should have a door or half door or otherwise be constructed in a more private manner. Despite those small complaints, I highly recommend this home for a small family or couple.
