This house was a great location to bring our family of 9 together. The ocean views were wonderful, and we prepared and shared some great meals in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and dining room. The property manager was very helpful when a tsunami warning was issued. The only negative was poor air circulation in 2 of the first floor bedrooms. The house is not air conditioned.
Loved the location on the north shore and proximity to Ha’ena state park, Hanalei town, etc. The views from the property were great. Kauai is easy to get around and we traveled south to Poipu area for day trips no problem. We loved walking on the beach even though it is too rough for swimming. House was well equipped and had plenty of space for our group of 10. No a/c as is the norm for most of the homes on the island, but the constant breeze felt nice. We enjoyed the covered front porch when we wanted to be out of the sun. Loved frequenting the Haven (local coffee stand) less than a mile away. Also loved hiking Hanakapia falls and Captain Andy’s Napali coast raft tour.
Just stay here. It’s literally on the water from the balcony. End of a beach so you get very few passer byers. Beautiful chef friendly kitchen. The yard by the road is a nice touch and having two little studios attached by the yard helped give families some space which they enjoyed.
This location was exactly what we were looking for; far from anything ‘city’ feeling, laid back, and surrounded by nature. The beachfront location is unmatched, and the accommodations were perfect. Just a watch out: there is no a/c. This was mostly not an issue but there were some hot moments when we wished we could close up and turn on the a/c.
This house was perfect for our group of 9! We had ages 8 to 79 and loved every minute here! The views were gorgeous and the space was fabulous!! The house was so well designed!
Amazing location sandy beach, blue water and Mountain View’s. Beach is somewhat private in that very few people came. The waves are big but we did get in the water just didn’t go far from shore. House is clean and organized. Two of the bed rooms are connected to the main house by an open air covered porch. There is an empty lot next door where a man seemed to be camping. Walking distance to ocean front restaurant and a coffee shop. Ten minute walk along the beach is another beautiful spot with calm water and beautiful fish. Safe for kids.

The property is fantastic, great views and the beachfront is basically private for how few people walked by. It is late in the season and the water was too rough for the kids to safely swim in there, but they loved playing in the sand and running from the waves. Short drive to hanalei town area, multiple beaches within short walking or driving distance. The house had all amenities you need for a beach house vacation, including beach chairs/umbrellas, boogie boards, and sand toys.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. It truly is one of a kind. Sophia, the property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. She was fantastic to work with.
We plan to stay here again. Being right on the ocean and listening to the waves every night was incredible. The location is conveniently close to Hanalei, but far enough away that you feel secluded. We highly recommend this home.

House was right on the water, there were rip tides, so no swimming there.
Would have been really nice to have more chairs on the porch facing ocean, so you could have morning coffee or evening cocktails. The porch off the kitchen only had a bench. We rented house to enjoy the beach.
4 couples including parents with 3 adult children.
- Each couple had their own bathroom and bedroom. Great privacy.
- At the same time, the living room, dining room, and outdoor areas are spacious and excellent for congregations.
- Well-appointed kitchen for grand meals. Grill is good but we ran out of propane which was a miss by the people who maintain it since there was no backup tank.

Surf at this house is strong and exciting. Further down the beach it’s less energetic and that’s where we did snorkeling - my son saw two Manta Rays right off the beach here.
- The nearby Tunnel Beach has even better snorkeling where we saw many turtles up close.
- Na Pali coast is accessible on foot but you must reserve in advance at the state park. This is a spectacular park to walk. Earlier in the day is better.
This property really is on a gorgeous beach that is positioned to give great privacy. The views are fantastic, the waves relaxing, the breeze was steady. The rooms were simple but just like the pictures. All family members liked their bed. The kitchen well supplied with the basics and a few extras (espresso machine didn't seem like a basic).
The support was great. Check-in was easy and when small questions came up, the manager, Sophia, was right on top of everything. (And we are not routine VRBO users.) We felt well taken care of.
Can definitely recommend.

The layout of the house is comfortable and functional, and the views are absolutely magnificent. I would recommend it to anybody especially a large group.

The upstairs deck provides for an incredible star gazing deck at night, cocktail lounge at dinner, and coffee retreat at breakfast. The large hot tub on the lower deck was an added bonus. The house was very clean with an abundance of windows, comfortable beds, and amenities. The property management was very responsive and helpful at all times. We had absolutely no issues and would recommend this house to anyone.

This home, and the property management people, made our vacation a dream. The ocean is 75 feet from the deck. The kitchen is comfortable and well equipped. The breeze from the ocean keeps the living and bedrooms cool. The proximity of Hanlei and Princeville make shopping for fresh fish and vegetables very easy. I would HIGHLY recommend this home.

3. Property is nice. However, be careful when pulling out of the driveway, it’s on a blind curve!
4. There is no air conditioning. This home has window vents and screen doors. It’s nice in the morning and it stays warm until later in the evening.
5. Kitchen is awesome, it has almost everything you need. We did have a private chef out for 2 nights. He wasn’t able to use all the pans as some of the pans had been burned - we addressed this to the property manager.
6. Although the views are beautiful and the beach is usable, the currant is really strong and we were advised by locals not to swim here. There are several beaches each way that are calm around, so this was not a deterrent for our group.

Magical, all that we imagined. No house location like it. Plenty of rooms and options, multiple lanai’s-impeccably furnished. We’ll be back. Remember-it’s not a swimming beach right there, but sun rises, digging crabs, surf, rainbows and sand are just fine!
