This place excited all my expectations. Kitchen was great, specious and functional. It's clear this property is very well taken care of. It's such a peaceful and quiet spot; perfect for relaxing. The location couldn't be better.
the house is clean, roomy, in the center of everything: beaches, markets, shops and national parks.
We have been with VRBO for at least 30 years. Over 20 rentals during this time.This was close to the very best as far as the location, ample supplies, cleanliness, decor, service, and generalatmosphere in this nice condo.

Very enjoyable stay. Close to beach and 15 minute walk (5 minute drive) to perfect snorkeling. Enjoyed the pool and BBQ space with relatives also staying at White Sands. Condo was clean and well maintained.
Exceptionally clean, VERY comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen, good furniture! Delighted to find plenty of essential toiletries, coffee filters, laundry soap, etc! The unit is tastefully decorated. Appreciated the quiet condo community. This is a community that values friendliness and a peaceful place to relax. LOVE IT!

My family of four stayed here for two weeks while my other family members also rented units from this same complex. This was the best solution to finding an affordable AND amazing place for our big family get together.
The unit is comfortable with a good AC unit to keep things cool, VERY comfortable beds and fully stocked for you to enjoy your time. The washer and dryer work great. There are PLENTY of towels. The lanai has lots of of swim stuff as well. The pool is AMAZING. It's 8 feet deep at one end, has a shallower end, as well as a hot tub.
There are literally only two drawbacks for my entire time here, and both of these are super manageable.
The first is to get into the unit, you are going to scrape the bottom of your vehicle unless it's lifted a good ways. You can POSSIBLE get it to not scrape, but I did it twice in two weeks. So be ready. The driveway is also very narrow especially at the road, so be cautious.
The second is the ocean. While absolutely gorgeous (seriously, the pictures that show the bright turquoise waters doesn't do it justice), this can be a bit of a rougher experience for people who aren't familiar with the water. So just a word of cautious for people to REALLY be careful. On a side note, there's a restaurant across the street and you can sit and enjoy a meal while watching people get eaten by the ocean. lol
All in all, 10 out of 10, would DEFINITELY stay again, and will strongly recommend to anyone interested to go.
I love the location and accessibility of stores, restaurants and best part beach. The beach is right across the small street. The hosting company is very attentive and the home has everything you could possibly need. It’s been 6 months from our stay and my kids still talk about this vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at White Sands. Nice beach across the street. Pool and grounds well kept. Condo was in very good shape; clean and ready for us. Questions and concerns were addressed kindly and quickly with a phone call. Would definitely book this unit again.
We loved our stay at this property. This is right in front of the Magic Sand Beach. The communication with the property management was very swift. Blake always responded to all my questions and requests very quickly. We didn't have any issues here. Its a quick 10 mins drive to happening downtown kona. And little over an hour drive away from most of the attractions either on the kohala side or the south side of the island. It would have been better of the living room was a little more roomier.
This property has a parking spot right is right next to the elevator and even the rental itself is right in front of the elevator and that made it very easy move our luggage in and out.
There is plenty of beach equipment available here we used 4 beach chairs, 1 lounge chair, 3 bodysurf boards, two beach mats, 2 umbrellas, 1 cooler, and a couple floating devices. (There are more stuff if needed).
The pool area and the BBQ area is spacious, it good that the white sands beach managment takes care of cleaning this area frequently. Restroom near the pool are very clean.
TV is little small and picture is not that clear as most recent led TVs, however, since we were exploring outside most of the time and only spent very less time watching TV that wasn't an issue for us.
Plenty of extra linens and pillows, sheets and comforters.
I would love to stay at this property agin on my next visit.
