The place served it's purpose. Room is located close to the pool, parking lot and beach access. Accessibility was key for our family of 7. Check in was easy, staff on the property were nice. Restaurant on the property was delicious and highly rated. Stellar sunrise opportunities every morning during our stay. Beach gear, baby gear and chairs were available for use.
This resort property is ideally located near Kapa’a, convenient to a grocery store, numerous dining options and beaches. The grounds are well kept, the pool is lovely with its waterslides and lagoon sand-bottom hot tubs. The beach is pretty with chaise lounges and Adirondack chairs for use. However, it is a rocky beach and waves/current are strong and not ideal for swimming or snorkeling. The Ocean restaurant on property is very nice, beautiful views, but prices are high for food and drink! Our room had a nicely appointed kitchen and bedrooms and bath were spacious. It is rather dark inside the unit. The patios -one with a small dining set and the other with two chairs- are technically “garden view” as listed in description, but not private at all as they face out to parking lot and balconies of another close building. Can’t open drapes for natural light if you don’t wish to be seen inside! As listed, the unit is close to beach and pool, but if a view matters, this unit is not for you! The living area isn’t great for gathering and watching TV. The couch is old and is big enough for two people. There is only one other side chair facing TV and it’s not comfy. Our group of four, one person was left out of space to watch a movie. If you don’t plan on spending evenings like this then I guess it doesn’t matter. There was a large heavy wood 4-seating table in the space that is too big and eats into the overall living space. Laundry access was helpful and washer worked well.
Fabulous location and wonderful property. Master bath set up is a bit odd with shower in the bath attached to entry and master bath. Otherwise great set up. Many properties with much bigger grassy spaces that face the ocean, but likely much more expensive. Pool is fabulous with waterslides (open 10-6) and open 7am-10pm. Great sunrises from the beach and twice a monk seal hung out for hours. Only 2 very minor issues that were addressed. Brita in the fridge as well as a 3L pitcher so plenty of filter watered. Fairly good amount of utensils, plates, etc. Great for families, but probably not where I'd pick as couples although 2 of 3 hittubs adult only, 16 and up

We had an amazing stay. Our place was great and super clean. Great communication from our host! We were steps away from the pool and beach. We will percent be back here again. This room has a private lanai that was perfect for lunch. The pool was great. We had the time of our lives here.

Had to call the manager about 4 times. Handle on the outside was broken off which meant it was not secure. He did send a repairman the next day. Next the handle fell off bedroom door. Roaches were found in the kitchen manager said it was sprayed 3 weeks ago. Next the fridge was making load noises and the freezer went out. We had to throw out remaining food!
My Family had a great experience at the property and the grounds the Restaurant on Site was amazing one of the best in the Island!
We just stayed one night after we arrived in Hawaii before we island hopped to the big island. This was a very nice place to stay with good pool area, right on the beach and easy drive/access to Lihue airport.
I searched VRBO listings for a long time for a property that met our family’s needs. We have three adult children that came on the vacation with us two boys and a girl. Ideally, we get a three bedroom condo, but I really wasn’t finding one that was in our price range and desired location. I decided to go with this property because it specifically said there was a queen and twin bed in the second bedroom. My kids do not care about sharing a bedroom, but my two adult boys need a queen or king.When we arrived at the property, we were very disappointed to see. It was a double bed in the second room. We even measured it to make sure our eyes were not playing tricks on us.My boys could not comfortably sleep in it together, so one had to uncomfortably sleep on a sleeper sofa for 10 days. I would never have spent that amount of money for one of my kids to sleep on a sleeper sofa. Also, the bathroom configuration is also incorrect on the website. It states there is three bathrooms, each of which have a shower that is not the case. Once again, we specifically picked this property because there were three bathrooms with three showers. It makes it easier when we are all getting ready . When I contacted the owner after our trip to discuss this, he told me the description is correct, which it clearly is not. overall everything else about our trip was wonderful. However, I never would have booked this particular property if they had an accurate description. False advertising.
Beautiful unit for our family of 5. Enough space for all of us to stay/sleep comfortably.Upon checkin, we noticed the sheets on the sleeper sofa were not clean (visibly stained), so I had to start our stay by washing these. Good news is there is washer/dryer in the unit, and laundry pods were provided.Everything else was great-my kids loved the pool, waterslides and hot tub. I loved the sunrise and the seal on the beach!We only stayed one night and would definitely stay longer next time..
I am a very particular person when it comes to where I stay. I was a little disappointed in this place, a little mold in the shower, dust on the bathroom lights, just overall well used. We had a good time but had a few small hiccups. The TV didn't work in the living room, the hot water was hit and miss, the linens on the bed are cheap polyester and no rug or towel in the bathroom for when you get out of the shower. Small things overall but just a few details you should be aware of. The location was great, big, fun pool with slides, and great coffee shop across the street (collab cafe). Sun rises were amazing here! One other thing to be aware of is there is no front desk to help if something is wrong, you have to get the property manager to help you and in our case he was out of town and unavailable during our stay unfortunately. Very close to the airport and some good places to eat, JO2, Hukilau Lani and Java Kai were a few of our favorites.

Our room was next to the beach access. Enjoyed sunrise and mornings on the beach. Close to all activities. Loved the pool slides. Must stay in kauai.
The condo and facilities are wonderful. Morning sunrises on the beach are stunning. Afternoon pool time made the grandkids smile
My family thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub areas at the Waipouli resort. The unit was plenty big for our family of four and was great because the "kids" didn't have to share a bedroom or bathroom. Mahalo!
Family of three and we stayed two nights (wish we had time to stay longer). Richie was responsive and the place was very clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities, beach stuff, etc. The pool was great and my kid loved the waterslides! Only thing that caught our attention was finding a security camera in one of the rooms as we were cleaning up...not sure why that was there but it was pointing toward the outside. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would book at this property again.
Resort was clean, pool was great close to beach, room was perfect for the 7 people who stayed there. The resort is close to several towns with cute shops and a grocery store right across the street.

The condo is great! Exactly as listed. The host is very quick to respond to any inquiries. The condo had everything we needed, and more, and everything was in working condition. It was clean, had all listed items for the beach, plenty of pots/pans/utensils. The property is quiet and well maintained. Perfect vacation!
This condo was clean, nicely decorated, master bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. I appreciate that there were some condiments and spices in the kitchen for use, and there were even some items in the bathrooms in case you forgot some thing like sunscreen. You can tell the owner of this property sincerely tries to think of the needs of his guests, which was really nice. Air conditioner worked great and it was a very short walk to the pool and the beach. We would definitely return to this lovely home.
