This was a great central location for our vacation. We were able to access both sides of the island within 30-45 minutes either way, which helped with the early starts for our excursions. We played at the hotel beach on 2 days; however, there is a lot of coral on this beach so we also drove to other beaches to swim. The room was very clean, well stocked, beach chairs and toys available for use, with plenty of room for a family of 4. My 12-year-old really liked the slides at the pool and we had a lovely meal at Oasis on the Beach one evening for dinner. A grocery store is directly across the street, which was convenient. The sunrises are beautiful here, but it was difficult to view the sunsets from here. Overall, a very lovely place.

This place was incredible! It’s was well equipped to cook and snack. The two bedrooms with private bathrooms and kings beds were amazing. The beds were super comfortable. I highly recommend booking this place!

This property has some great things about it and some things that were sneaky and not so great. Make sure to read the fine print that the rate is for 2 people only. Even though it can sleep 4 easily! We were charged an extra $180 for two extra people (so dumb!). This is NOT a good ocean view - it's the view of the parking lots. If you go out on the balcony you can see a bit of the ocean. I guess they still consider that 'ocean view'?? It was disappointing.
The beds were lovely - it was nice to have two king beds so we as couples didn't have to flip a coin to see who gets the better master suite (and that is why we essentially chose this property).
It's dark! We always had the lights on, and it was hard to see in the dresser and armoire that was provided.
It's located near Safeway grocery and some good restaurants. The beach is great, but I wouldn't swim in it - it's rough. The pool is lovely but very cold (I don't think it's heated). But there is a nice hot tub.
There are beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella provided that is very nice to have and use.
The condo has a drip coffee maker and they had plenty of coffee and filters for us to use (thank you!). There are ice packs to use as well in the freezer and a nice touch was the Britta filter available in the fridge.
The cleaning fee seemed steep ($300) but the condo was very clean and we didn't have to do much on check out (take out trash and start a load of towels). Overall it's a great condo.

My husband & 9 month old stayed at Ron’s place while on Kauai. His place is just as described in the listing and we were so grateful to have found his unit in the resort. It was clean, the beds were so comfortable & we had everything we could possibly need to feel right at home during our stay. We were traveling with an infant and having a Pack & Play and booster seat were extremely helpful! We also loved the large tubs for baths. The resort is in a great location - right across from Safeway and many local food places within walking distance. (Kenji Burger is a must, we went twice!) The pool is where we spent most of our afternoons & being right on the beach was so nice for sunrise and walks. There is a path along the ocean you can take for miles. Ron was a great communicator and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. He even left a basket of local goodies for us which was such a pleasant surprise. In all my times to Hawaii I don’t think I’ve had a pineapple & it was the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Ron for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we hope to be back for another visit in the future!
