It was great. The Shores are quiet and a lovely place to be. Close to everything. Condo is very clean. It is older however the hosts ensure it is clean and well cared for. The views from this condo are amazing. It was a great stay! Mahalo!
Our 5-day stay at this unit was an enjoyable one. The condo is very comfortable, spacious and well-cleaned. As a corner unit on the 3rd floor, it has a very private and secure feel. In addition, this particular building’s location within the property, provides very an impressive view of Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa & Hualalai from its large wrap-around lanai.The kitchen, linen closets and pantry were well-stocked with utensils, useful provisions and beach equipment, as well as interesting books and games.The community grounds are attractive and well-taken care of, with access to amenities like the pool, hot-tub and gym.The location allows easy access to a large selection of shops, restaurants, scenic walking trails and the beach.Communication with the management company was very smooth through the entire process of reserving, checking in and our stay at the property, as they were very courteous and responsive.We have stayed at a few units at The Shores at Waikōloa; all have been quite good, but this one was notably our favorite.
This spacious one bedroom pad offers everything you need for a comfy stay in Waikoloa. The kitchen has all the essentials, including a washer and dryer. We slept well and enjoyed our morning coffee on the wrap around lanai with a great view of Mauna Loa. Just a short walk to the pool and jacuzzi. A two minute drive to the King’s and Queen’s shopping center. Loved it.
Although not on the beach, several beaches are easily walkable, and many within short driving distance. Pool area was clean and quiet. Restaurant choices were plentiful within walking distance.Condo was well maintained, clean, and had a delightful shaded afternoon view. Overall great vacation!

This condo is nice. Nothing fancy but good for the price. The bed was comfortable enough. The pans and knives were great. No spices just S&P. The air turns off every 4 hours which was kind of a pain. I asked for more beach towels, there was only 2 and they were kids size. They were very prompt delivering. Vacasa was easy to deal with. Thanks for letting us stay!
This property is located in a great resort village with easy access to shopping, restaurants, beaches, golfing and many other amenities. Most everything is within easy walking distance, and there are many paved pathways in the area. This is a super location for exploring the big island's many resources and is close to the airport and Kona. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The lanai was a perfect place to enjoy a cup of Kona coffee in the morning, with a nice breeze and colorful variety of visiting birds in the large tree adjacent. We would love to return!
Great property with all of the comforts of home (including welcome snacks). Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, golf and beaches. Washer, dryer, serviceware and beach gear were added perks. Clean and easy access. Very comfortable process. Made our trip a success!

My wife and I stayed here for a week in March to celebrate my birthday and to visit friends who live on the Big Island. The apartment was spacious with a large balcony for outside dining, and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It was close to the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace, plus there was a bar just 100 yards away for casual dining. A minor drawback was that there was not sufficient lighting in the living room or the bedroom to read by in the evenings.
We really enjoyed our two-week stay at this third floor unit. From the large deck, we had a great eastern view of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, as well as the golf course and lava field; this also made it sunny in the morning as well as cool and shady in the afternoon. The unit is very spacious and well equipped, including nice touches like a coffee grinder, ice maker, great air conditioning, beach chairs/umbrellas, and a very complete set of kitchen utensils and supplies. We’ve stayed at the Shores before and really enjoy the meticulous upkeep, spaciousness, and the amenities.
Spacious one bedroom condo in a quiet complex. Well equipped kitchen and pleasant outdoor patio. Shopping and restaurants close by. We enjoyed our stay! Only wish it was longer.
