This was 5 stars plus. This condo had everything. It was immaculate, well appointed. Had sand toys galore. Well stocked with supplies. It was PERFECT. The owner is very caring. Can’t say enough good things.
This is a lovely property situated in a gated resort area. The photos are all accurate. The thing that sets this place apart is how well the condo is stocked with everything you need. There are every day spices in the cabinet, a Tupperware full of various l cups for coffee/tea and so on. That way when you arrive after your long travels you have everything you need to start off your stay. There is also boogie boards, beach chairs/umbrella and snorkeling gear in the closet if you want to hit the beach. Nearby is a pool with a restaurant that has nightly entertainment and really great food. There are workout facilities, tennis courts etc etc.The host is very excellent to work with! She communicated well but did not overload with information. This was a great place to stay for my family and many lifetime memories were created!

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the best-appointed homes we have ever stayed. We appreciated all of the fine touches and personalization - great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and great beach gear, made it a completely worry-free stay. The grounds were gorgeous, the complex pool and restaurant was a relaxing and convenient bonus. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back!

we completely loved this unit the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked. They had great beach chairs,boogie boards,games, way too many things to count. Will definitely return to this unit
The property is truly amazing. The views from the back patio are breath taking. The King size main bedroom was perfect and that ensuite was everything that was needed and more from the large tub to the walk in shower. The Second bedroom with its 2 beds would be perfect for any family. Although, the second bathroom isn't "Attached" it was right next to the second bedroom. The kitchen had EVERYTHING that you could need from blenders, to cookware to insulated cups. Everything that we used, worked perfectly. It was Hawaii so we went out for most meals. There was a perfectly sized grill on the outside patio if one decided to grill at home. The celing fans and A/C made the room perfect for sleeping at night and kept everything at a great temp through the day. You did have the option to open the front door and the windows (all with screens) and let a great ocean breeze rush through the unit. The double doors opening to the balcony made for a great walkway and open space to the back of the unit. When I say the unit is stocked, I am under selling it. There were so many towels, beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel sets, tennis rackets and balls, insulated coolers, beach bags, yoga mats, board games and more. Christi B has really made this unit stand out. A small putting green is right out in the front along with a basketball court and tennis courts. The Ocean Club and Pool were both stunning. Ocean views, heated pool and 2-4 happy hour were big hits. The live music didnt disappoint!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfect condo. The location is the perfect setting for enjoying a nice breakfast and watching the sunset from the lanai. Christi was so easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. We were greeted with a welcome sign and snacks after our long day of travel. The condo is beautifully furnished with island touches and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a delicious meal. We’ve stayed at Hali’i Kai over the last 14 years and Christi’s place is our favorite! 10/10 accommodating
Impossible to overstate how well prepared and welcoming this roomy condo and its host is! It’s really a private nook in a larger resort. We’d not been here before but will come again and wouldn’t stay elsewhere. Spot whales while drinking morning coffee. Great view of golf’s most scenic hole here. Very welcoming and responsive host. Much like (a well appointed) home—but absent most of the worries and with 80 degree daily temperatures!
We stayed at Hali i Kai 7a from December 25 thru January 1. Christi gave a warm welcome with a Christmas tree setup and a basket of goodies for us. She was very responsive throughout our stay.The unit has partial oceanview which was expected. Its clean and fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen as well as for laundry and beach equipment and setup. The location is very safe. In fact we rented 4 bikes and we just parked them unlocked in front of the garage with no issues.We would definitely stay here again next time.

Everything you could need! Super comfortable space and attentive host. I’m still dreaming about sipping my coffee on the lanai every morning! Lava rock trail behind the property is very cool to walk - don’t miss it.
The condo and facility are wonderful. The view of the ocean (perfectly framed sunsets) and volcano from the lanai cannot be beat. The condo has everything you could ask for and then some, from kitchen appliances, to beach items, to coolers. The common pool and fitness area (best view ever) are also great. The grounds of the complex are also perfectly manicured. Finally, the owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Not one complaint and would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for providing a perfect place for our vacation.
This property is amazingly stocked! From boogie boards to snorkel gear to nice appliances, a full set of dishes and silverware, including sharp knives, along with every cooking utensil or item you could ever need! The property manager knew we were coming in really late and had kids and even stocked some snacks for us! The beds are super comfortable, the couch is comfortable, and the unit appears basically brand new! communication with the owner was very easy. This complex is our favorite one to stay at in Waikoloa, we will definitely be coming back! Couldn’t recommend it more!
We have stayed in the Hali'i Kai complex a number of times but this was our first time renting from Christi. The condo is exactly as advertised if not better. Terrific views of the ocean, golf course and sunset from the spacious lanai. The gas grill works great as we prefer to eat dinner in rather than go out, we used the grill 3 times during our week stay.
The condo is better equipped than most rental units we have seen, everything you need for cooking and serving a full meal. The beds are high quality and the master has a large TV as does the living room.
Because it is a 2nd floor corner unit, the condo has great air flow, should you choose to not use AC full time, as it isn't necessary.
Building 7 is across the road from the tennis courts and a short walk to the Ocean Club pool, bar and restaurant.
Christi is great to deal with, quickly responding to messages before and during our stay.
Loved the condo and location. Ocean Club was a nice refuge. Lots of great hikes and beaches nearby!

Supply’s needed for a great vacation. Great views to Whale Watch and views of the golf course.
Kitchen is well stocked with condiments, pantry had plenty of supplies that I assume other quests had left that we not opened and still in date.
Christ the host was quick and responsive with any needs which was very nice. Had very small situation with guest bath getting clogged but was addressed within a couple hrs👍

This property seemed almost new. Appliances, furniture, bedding, were excellent. Even though you were not right on the water you had a nice view of the ocean. This time of year whales were seen daily. The condo has all you need for cooking and eating in. They have a well stocked closet for beaching. Chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel equipment. There is a what is called the Ocean Club. This is where the pool, exercise room, and restaurant were. It was a first class set up. The restaurant was very good. No more expensive than going off property. The staff at the Ocean Club were also excellent. Very friendly and helpful. You could stay at Hali Kai your whole vacation and have a wonderful time. There is a $25 dollar daily fee for the club. Great vacation. Wish we could have stayed much longer.
Property was well maintained and provided access to full complement of beach, boarding, snorkeling and activity equipment. Access to staples (paper products) and towels were plentiful. Enjoyed the sites pool bar and restaurant that was available. Would definitely recommend location and would stay there again.
