We had a great 10 days, loved the condo and the facilities.
Nice location and amenities. Enjoyed our time and wouldn’t stay again.
This was our first time staying in the Hali’i Kai complex and we didn’t want to leave. The unit was amazing, having everything on one level with all 3 bedrooms was greatly appreciated for the folks with elder knees. Unit was clean and well stocked. The real treat was the pool area, it’s right on the ocean and watching the sunset go down each night was incredible. All the neighbors were super friendly and helpful. View from the patio was nice and the location was great for walking to the Hilton (5 mins) and about 20 mins to the Kings/Queens shopping area. Going out on the patio at night and looking at the stars was mesmerizing and was a real highlight of this trip. We had an issue with the dryer about halfway through our stay that wasn’t resolved, but other than that everything was nearly perfect!
The condo was clean, easy to access when we came in after hours, and very fun for my family of 4. We were very comfortable and happy with the layout. There were many beach toys, boogie boards and extra gear for us to use too. Have a great washer and dryer in the unit made such a positive difference for us. Would recommend. The pool at the property was perfection and has an incredible view of the ocean. Whales can me seen daily and the bar is great!

Had a fantastic week stay in Halii Kai. Condo Kitchen is well appointed, although it only had enough bowls for 4 people, even though it accomodates 6. Kitchen table also only has room for 4. The headboards in the bedroom with 2 twin/double beds are not attached to the beds and rattle every time you move on the bed. Kids couldn't sleep with them so had to put them in the closet so they could sleep. Overall, the furniture the living room and lanai has seen better days. BBQ grill also bent so one side of the BBQ burned pretty much everything. Could use a bit of updating. No beach towels or beach chairs were available in this unit either, which many other units seem to provide. The Unit has a nice washer and dryer, however HE detergent was not provided even though the instructions say to only use HE detergent. Our stay was fantastic and had a great time, but didn't base the quality of our trip on the condo itself. Pool and restaurant at this development are really nice as well.
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at this property and would stay here again. It was very spacious with great curb appeal and nice accommodations. We used the ground level deck for meals and nice yard to play catch with the football. Locations is excellent, albeit a half mile walk to the pool from our unit (3H). The provided beach supplies, in mostly working order, were appreciated.
The pool area, although quite beautiful, had a weird, 'no fun zone' vibe to it so we didn't spend much time there. The bartender would call out patrons for bringing in a glass of water from across the pool, demand they empty it, etc. It was odd. Also, the cleaning agent(?) used on the tile floors of our unit gave us all black bottoms of our feet within minutes of walking around barefoot.
Overall, a great stay. I'd recommend it.
Can’t beat the location or the pool. They had live music, a cute little restaurant and bar and whales swimming by the pool. Amazing. Also, walking distance to watch dolphins at the Hilton or chill under the palms at black sand beach. Our view from our condo was the golf course and we even laid out under the stars to watch a meteor shower one night. The condo was perfect and we he management was on top of our only issue a broken chair which the handy man cheerfully fixed two days later. Yep, we had a great time.
