The house was clean and they provided all the amenities you would need including simple things like dish and laundry soap. Very well done. Views from the deck were fantastic. Access to the beach was great and you will see turtles on the beach everyday!!The location is great in terms of transit to airport, west Maui, Wailea, etc.There were a few quirky things that didn’t end up being an issue for us but might be for some. The house is adjacent to beach access so you will have people walking by. Was never an impact to privacy. Some people walked their dogs through the back yard, but never when we were outside. The main floor and the downstairs are only connected by the outside stairs. Again not a huge issue, but not something most are used to.All in all a great place. We had 14 stay there and were very comfortable.
We range in age from 1to 75. We watched the turtles come onto the beach every night. Beach chairs, boogie board & cooler were provided & kept each of us happy on beach. A short walk back to rental in case we forgot anything. Concierge made arrangements for car & paddleboard rentals. Cute shops & food trucks were a short drive away. Excellent location.
Wonderful place to celebrate a 65th birthday with all my family. Has a gorgeous yard, a convenient location, most comfortable lovely home, and fantastic views.
It's difficult to coordinate schedules for a big group, so the hope for a fabulous trip is pronounced. Villa Moana didn't disappoint! We had a wonderful and treasured experience. Five-star hospitality does not simply reflect the quality of the venue, but it is attributed to service and the small details. Wyatt was very attentive and interested in us. He communicated effectively and made sure things worked smoothly. He accommodated our preferences and needs and really made us feel welcome and cared for. Well done! The home is beautiful and very well appointed. It was very clean and in good shape. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked with utensils and paper goods. The washer/dryers were life savers. The beach accoutrements made things enjoyable and simple. The back lawn made gathering and play time easy for all ages. Our entire group could go on and on. We had a group of 16 of us ranging from 4-70. This house and property was the perfect location for family dinners, short walks to the beach and the view was absolutely breath taking. The turtles came in every evening and that was amazing to watch. There was the best shaved ice and restaurants just a 5 min walk. We will absolutely stay there when we go back again. Highly recommend this home!
This was the most top-notch host I have ever met in my life. After my husband died on April 20 of 2024 one of his request was to be spread in Maui overlooking a beach where we often would go to look for seashells and sea glass. The first few months of his crossing, I could not sleep so I just kept looking for the right house and when I came across the advertisement for this one, I called my grandson who is 23 years old over to my chair and I asked him just think about a home that your grandfather would love. He took one look at this and he said that’s the house!
The homeowner understood the delicate situation that we were in and offered to go far over and beyond to help me celebrate my husband, and it made the perfect everything. The Concierge connected me to people who would pick us up at the airport to save us problems from the shuttle and rental cars, and then the people connected to her Also became like family just like this homeowner did. I cannot tell you enough how much they all showed respect and the true Ohana way. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this home. If anything I could say if it was on the market, I would seriously consider buying it. I highly recommend Wyatt and his team to anyone wanting a top-notch experience. Thank you to all! Mahalo! We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary will all our adult children and grandchildren at this property. The property and location were perfect! The host was great!
We stayed at Villa Moana with a group for a birthday celebration and the beautiful home was perfect for us. The home is clean and well appointed - felt like it had all the amenities of a luxury hotel - and a short walk to the beach where we were greeted by sea turtles every evening.
We enjoyed the outdoor spaces (balcony and yard) and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all modern and clean. The best part is waking up every morning with a view of the ocean. Wyatt is also very communicative and an excellent host and even provided a free concierge service (which we used and was fantastic!).
We would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat and hope to stay again!
This home was amazing! FULLY stocked with towels, and then more towels! Beach towels? Beach Toys? Games (board games)? Pots, pans, dishes? ALL COVERED.
When we had a minor issue (needed a few more blankets) or if a specific item was not available (they purchased us a waffle maker!), Wyatt and Scott were responsive and fully engaged.
We utilized the complimentary concierge services. The grocery orders we placed were purchased in advance and stocked for us. We also requested a private chef and had a meal prepared for one night of our stay.
This is, by far, the most friendly, communicative, and supportive rental on vrbo. Wyatt and Scott bring the true spirit of aloha! home :)
We had a family reunion with 17 of us, including babies, surprising my husband for his 70th birthday. We sort of accidentally found this house in Kihei, and it made all the difference in our trip. The large grassy back yard, the sea turtles at sunset, the nearby coffee shops, the well-supplied kitchen, and the lovely authentic town of Kihei all made this our best trip ever. It is convenient to harbours, a pineapple farm, the Te Au Moana luau, and the road to Hana as well as other hikes.
We used and needed all 3 spaces in the home, and it had everything we needed. There was room for parking all 4 rental cars. Thank you, Mr. Sharpley!
Villa Moana is a beautiful setting with some of the greatest views you will see in a vacation rental. We host our family somewhere in the US every year. This property is without a doubt one of best we’ve experienced. We had the entire property. It was clean and very well stocked. Wyatt was very responsive. I highly recommend it.
Our family of 20 were able to stay the whole week together to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
It was perfect. Time to relax, time to play on the beach, time to explore the cute town of Kihea.
The house was beautiful and very conducive to both big fun gatherings and also private spaces.
There were lots of fun yard games and the chairs for the beach were very nice with "backpack straps".
Wyatt helped us in so many ways and was so attentive to our needs and questions. Couldn't ask for better!!!
Note to future visitors! Go out early when the wind is calm for your best beach time- afternoons can get very windy in June. The coral reef is great but plan to use paddleboards or inflatables to rest on since the coral is best viewed quite a ways off the beach where the water gets deep. So awesome to have such a beautiful beach and a coral reef to explore! And of course the turtles every evening were magical- one evening we saw 25!!!
We really loved our stay in Villa Moana. We had a group of 15 people, with ages ranging from 9 to 82, and the house and property were perfect for all of us. We were all able to be together, but also have our own space. Anything that we needed or wanted was at the house, ready for us, and in great condition! Wyatt went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect vacation. He was very communicative and helpful, especially with coordination before our stay.
We loved our location on Maui, the ocean views were beautiful. The family of chickens that wandered the property and the turtles that nested on the beach every night were also a fun bonus!
