Great location and spacious place! Perfect!
We were very please with this condo. The bedrooms were great, and every time we thought “I wonder if she has this” we found it. It is directly across from Magic Sands beach which was wonderful. We would walk down in the morning, come back for lunch and a break, and walk back down in the late afternoon. I would definitely consider staying there again if I returned.
We loved our stay. Kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of sand toys, pool noodles and a cooler. Condo was clean and comfortable. The proximity to magic sands was fantastic. The condo pool and hot tub offered nice variety. Definitely coming to stay again! The owner was quick to respond and very gracious. Thank you so much!!
My family had an excellent stay. Condo was a great location. Plenty of space, had everything we needed, and we slept on comfortable mattresses and pillows!
We had a fantastic trip. We loved being across the street from the beach. My kids loved the pool. The condo was as advertised. We also felt like the property owner went above our expectations. The airline made a change to our flight and we had to check out a day early. We sent a message to let them know and didn’t expect a refund for the lost day because of the poor timing. The property owner was so kind and understanding.
We all enjoyed our stay at this condo. The birds chirping in the morning was a lovely sound. The beds were very comfortable and having towels for the beach was handy to have and the beach chairs. Having a washer and dryer was helpful as well. Access to the beach across the street was nice. We didn't get a chance to swim in the pool but the bbq and amenities at the pool looked so nice with tables and chairs to sit under a pergola. We very much recommend utilizing this condo for anyone interested. Thank you!
White Sands Village is across the street from Magic Sands beach. It is a great location, 5 minutes to downtown Kona. The condo is well equipped with all amenities you would need. There is a wrap around lanai with foliage on one side which provides some privacy. There is a pool, hot tub, sauna and 3 grills. The owner, Karen, is very pleasant and easy to work with.
Overall White Sands Village is a great location. Close to Kona and across the street from White Sands Beach. The condo offers all the amenities that you may need. The unit has a wrap around lanai. One side of the lanai has tall foliage which adds to the privacy of the unit. Outside amenities include 3 grills outside pool and hot tub and sauna. Karen the owner is very easy to get a hold of. We will be back.
The condo was everything we needed and more. The location was great. Property was clean. Excellent condo with great air conditioning. The wrap around lanai was great for sitting outside. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. The extra cleaning supplies and kitchen items were great.
The condo was comfortable and well-furnished. Yet location was just right - on Ali’i Dtive, convenient to almost everything on the Kona side of the island but not too close so you don’t get caught up in the Ali’i Drive traffic jams. And right across the street from Magic Sands beach. Since the condo was at the back of the building, there was no street noise. Our only issue was with the elevator. Yes, there is an elevator, but you still have to walk up a half-flight of stairs to get to the condo. Not a big deal unless you are two old women each trying to haul a large suitcase up those stairs. This was only a minor issue, though . Overall, we had a great time here.
White Sands is an older property but very well cared for. The pool area was great, but some renovations made it hard to enjoy during the days, but night swims were great. BBQ area is very clean and nice to hang out at. Our condo was on the mauka side just over the tennis courts. Not ideal when pickle ballers were playing, but very peaceful at night! The unit was nicely appointed and had everything we needed and more. Very clean and easy to access. Only thing missing was a little better view, but value for the dollar, hands down a win.
We were coming into Kona with our children for a friends wedding and had never stayed on the Big Island so didn’t know much about the area. We did a ton of research before booking and were so pleased we chose this location and host. The condo was spacious, well appointed and provided everything we needed for fun in the sun with our kiddos (including beach toys, beach chairs, water shoes, a boogie board, etc.). The wrap around Lanai was perfect for relaxing, catching the sunset or watching our kids play tennis on the beautiful court. The pool area provides an outdoor kitchen area with bbq grills and a covered seating area which was great for rainy days when the kids didnt want to get out of the pool. the condo is just steps from magic sands beach and is within a few miles of shops and restaurants. We were able to enjoy our friends wedding and everything the surrounding area had to offer with very little stress thanks to the Stewarts! Imformation was communicated quickly and clearly and checking in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be back and look forward to staying here agaim
We enjoyed our stay here! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything for cooking & the unit was very spacious and clean. Love the quick access to the beach across the street. Would recommend!

My family of 5 stayed here for 5 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was exactly as advertised, very clean, an large enough for my entire family to stay comfortably. The unit has a large kitchen that made cooking meals very convenient for my family. Wonderful location and we highly recommend this unit! Would definitely stay here again

Pros: Walk across to Magic sands beach and you can swim, body surf or even snorkel. Nice to walk across and get in the ocean in all of 3 mins tops. Also Magics grill for dinning out (a bit $$$) is still a good option. The complex has a nice, updated pool, hot tub, sauna, and pool table.
The unit has a very large lanai - and half of which has a nice view of tropical plants so nice privacy there.
I would recommend this spot to others. We had a nice time. Host was responsive and tried to address anything that was of issue.
Areas of improvement:
Agree with others that the unit could use a "deep cleaning" there are obvious areas in the shower that need some extra cleaning and a layer of dust on some lamps. Master room bed mattress does need to be replaced it’s a bit like a waterbed but a normal spring bed that is very wobbly.
I wish I knew the tennis courts were under construction so next time I book, I will ask about the possibility, it is Hawaii, so things move slow sometimes.

Sparkling clean beautifully furnished apartment close to everything ~ what else can you ask for?

Close to the beach with in walking distance.
This Kona condo was perfect for our family of 4 (2 grown kids). The location really was convenient - a 2 minute walk to the beach and easy drive to town, plus easy access to the main road for exploring the island. We enjoyed the large kitchen and livingroom, and spent lots of time relaxing on the patio.
Check in was simple, and communications were good.
The place needs a new/improved bed in the master bedroom and new bedding. Updating the twin beds to fulls would be good. Could use a deep cleaning. We were surprised by the last minute notification that there'd be construction crews just outside the doors all day during the week. It wasn't ideal, but we made it work. Overall, a great vacation week.

Condo is very well equipped! Perfect for family. Bad thing was construction of the tennis courts next to us I would suggest you find out when they will be finished before you book their the pool the surroundings were beautiful however, at this time of year magic sans had limited amount of sands and lots of lava rock. I would definitely stay there again with this owner. The washer and dryer were a great !
Great location across from a beautiful small beach with perfect sunsets. Short walk away is a great all level surfing beach.
Nice pool and bbq area as well.
We've been to The Big Island several times before. This property was very clean and directly across the street from Magic Sands Beach, which is one of the few sandy beaches on the Kona coast. Close to town and shopping. It is also one of the few properties that has central AC, although you won't need it much this time of year (January). I highly recommend this property, and we'll be back the next trip!

Fabulous location, plenty of room. Beds comfortable. Ants in the kitchen were a bit annoying. Could use a refresh in remodeling, but other than that, it was great.
Only problem was the very steep entrance to condo from road. My rental car was low to the ground and scraped every time I drove in or out

White Sands Village is in a great location with an amazing sunset beach literally across the street. We enjoyed coming “home” after full days of exploring this beautiful island. The condo is well stocked with essentials. The wrap around patio is so peaceful in the mornings and late evenings. I would recommend this condo for anyone wanting to stay off site of a resort and wanting a feel of “home”. Thank you Karen for the great communication before and during our stay.
