We enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage that had everything we needed (including beach chairs, umbrella and cooler!). The owner was super helpful and kind in making sure everything was perfect for us. We love staying south of Hilo where we have more access to the Paradise Cliffs and morning dawn hikes along this magnificent coastline. Groceries, stores, restaurants, markets are all easily available, too. It's also an easy drive into Hilo, as well. We had a wonderful time!
The cottage was clean and supplied all the necessities. There were even beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and boogie board you could borrow while staying there. Located about 30 min from Hilo in Keeau, not far from Volcano, near Mauna Loa Macadamia nut farm and some of the Southeastern beaches. The chirping of the Coqui frogs could be loud but there were earplugs provided. No AC but lots of fans. I loved the feel of being in a tropical location far from home. We very much enjoyed our stay and being surrounded by nature!

Clean and quiet and just like the pictures. Beds were comfortable and the temperature was fine without air conditioning.
A perfect retreat, made for a perfect jumping off point to explore the eastern and southern spots of the Big Island. The host was terrific with local recommendations and accomodations for our 4 months old. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Overall, the accommodations were fine. It would have been nice to have some available outlets for charging electronics. Everything a person needed in the kitchen was provided. We would have loved to explore the grounds but the rain didn't allow for that.

Its located in a beautiful secluded neighborhood, which makes you feel isolated from the rest of the world, while everything you need is within 20 minute drive. The house is very cute, has all the amenities, beautifully decorated and cozy. The host was very responsive and even provided local tips which was very helpful. We loved having meals at the lanai with a view. Overall it was a perfect place to experience the Big Island.

A quiet little cottage away from the hustle and bustle of life. A short drive from a great place to hangout and watch the waves. Had great internet service and lots of fans thank goodness to help with humidity. There was a small mishap and the owner as well as property manager were quick to fix! Bedding was clean and comfortable to sleep. Perfect home for a family of 3. We will definitely be back!
We had a lovely trip to east island Hawaii. We got to see volcano, Pahoa, Hilo. The house had everything we needed and more. We v much appreciated the large water dispenser - we went on hikes and it was good to refill our bottles for the walk. Everything was super easy and convenient. We ate on back deck and played dominoes both nights.
The only negative was the coqui frogs. The ear plugs came in v handy. They are a loud species.
