Welcome to The ‘Ulu Grove Suite, a cozy, minimalist jungle bungalow designed for peace and simplicity. Surrounded by forest on all sides, this ground-floor space offers the perfect setting for nature lovers, remote workers, or anyone needing a calm reset.

Located just 15 minutes from Hilo intl airport, 15 min to Pahoa and 25 from Volcano, it’s close to everything but feels like your own private nature sanctuary.

The space
The hosts are the proud new stewards of this sacred 10-acre jungle. Before their arrival, the land was left untouched for years, allowing it to grow wild and free. As a result, guests have the rare opportunity to witness some of the island’s most extraordinary natural wonders—towering fruit trees, massive old-growth bamboo clumps, wild avocado groves, and perhaps most magical of all, a handful of ancient banyan trees that feel like something straight out of Avatar. Free farm tour for first 5 guests + potential "Pick your own fruit" experience depending on what is in season!

The nest suite is a fully private home with its own kitchen / bathroom, nestled within a small jungle compound that also includes a cabin and our two-story apartment across the breezeway. You’ll be able to park right next to the house and enjoy total privacy—there are no shared spaces, unless you count the 10 acres of lush Hawaiian jungle we all call home. While we’re nearby if you need anything, we give our guests plenty of space to relax and feel like they have the land to themselves.Check our other listing to host up to 12 guests total!
