We were instructed by Scott to not put the trash out until Tuesday evening. Unfortunately that didn’t work because the trash can was almost 2/3 full when we got there, there was only one trash can which was not sufficient, and we had left by 10 a m that morning. We tried to group the trash bags but the trash will be needed to be handled by your cleaning crew/local dump asap. Our other problem was parking as there was no street parking. We had 4 cars that constantly had to be moved because scheduled activities and wildly different hours did not work well. It was not unusual for the houseguests to be interrupted by excited children while everyone moved their cars around. We worked it out but it was an issue. The area was lovely and we appreciated the suggestions. Thank you.

We were so impressed with this property! So nice to have boogie boards, beach chairs, sand toys, and bikes. The AC units worked so good too. Can’t say enough good about Scott snd Adam! They really know how to take care of their guests. It will be our go to place when we come again. Thank you!!
Forever in our hearts. I can hear my sister giving my nieces a bath upstairs. My son and brother in law playing video games in the living room. My parents enjoying nice conversations at the dinning room table. My wife cooking us all a delicious meal. The sound of laughter fills the entire house. From my Ohana to yours.Mahalo ! Overall this is a great house near golf and walking distance to a few beaches. Walkable to a sunset view from the golf course out on a bluff overlooking the ocean and a view of Queen’s Bath from high above. We had 3 couples staying here for 4 nights. We cooked here quite a bit and we ventured out during the day on beach trips and really enjoyed having the snorkel equipment, beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for our use. Only thing giving it a lesser rating was a couple of bugs seen in the kitchen. I let the owner know. I’m sure that is an ongoing issue because of the weather and environment on the island. Overall it was a great stay.
If you want to stay at the Princeville/Hanalei Bay area, then this is your place! We had a party of 7 adults and one baby under the age of 2. The house had plenty of stuff for the baby to use such as a pack and play and a high chair. The house also has everything you need for a perfect day at the beach with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, etc. The house was very spacious and clean. I loved the outdoor kitchen area the most. We spent many hours making meals and spending quality time together in the lanai. The indoor kitchen has the latest appliances and had everything we needed to cook our meals. Scott was very responsive to any questions and needs we had before and during our stay. He also provided a list of activities, shopping and restaurants in the area which was very helpful. We are definitely going to come back for all of our family vacations on Kauai!!
Can’t say enough good things about Scott’s place! Our family of 8 stayed the 1st half of our trip at a local resort and it was decent enough, but when we arrived at this house… I immediately exclaimed out loud, “10 out of 5 stars!” Scott was very communicative and accommodating, even coordinating with the cleaning crew to let us check in a bit early. Great location right by Queen’s Bath (which was sadly closed due to conditions during our stay, but we knew that ahead of time) and such beautiful views of the mountains (and waterfalls!) right from lanais and even some of the bedrooms. The house has all the gear you need (even more than what’s shown in the photos!), kitchen supplies (including spices, coffee maker, and a brita filter), and Scott has a big binder full of recommendations for your stay. The house itself is spacious, has very effective AC units and ceiling fans, beautiful flooring and tasteful decor, comfy couches/seating, and we were especially enamored of the gorgeous staircase with banister made of tropical wood Also loved the mud room with high quality washer and dryer. We felt really comfortable and at home here and highly recommend Scott’s place! Hope to be back soon!Oh! And you should definitely walk over towards the golf course for sunset… photo of that and one of the lanai views attached.
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was gorgeous and had a lot of nice amenities! Fit 8 people comfortably. We loved using the grill to cook fish and did enjoy lots of the beach gear in the garage. I would recommend this house and neighborhood to any!
Big and beautiful house in a great neighborhood! We loved walking the path on the golf course and being near Hanalei. It was also very nice to have beach items and towels! Our only complaint is that the king size bed creaked very badly and there were a couple issues with the bedroom doors.
Perfect house for our family vacation. Each had their own private space and a great family room, kitchen and lanai for being together. Lots of amenities for beach and fun and close to everything. Felt like home.
We had a great 21 day stay in this Princeville VRBO. This was our first time to this island. We were happy we chose the north side - very lush and many beautiful beaches with only a few people on them (in December with big waves). The house had everything we needed, and is located in a nice neighborhood. We appreciated the owner's many suggestions for things to do and see.
This place was amazing! Perfect location for my wife and I to get away wiyh our children and grandchildren to enjoy beatiful Kauia!

As a multi-generation family, celebrating a milestone birthday, this house was almost perfect! The owner was in contact with us about our concerns and was very helpful regarding missing supplies and entrance lock issues. Our only complaint was that we had to travel by car to the beach. (A car is necessary to see most of Kauai; a boat or helicopter to see the Napali Coast!) We highly recommend Captain Andy's Sunset Catamaran dinner cruise, the highlight of our trip for everyone, ages 3, 5, 9, 13 and adults to 78! Plan on spending more than you thought you would, knowing most of the experiences are worth the $$$.
Our stay in Princeville was fantastic. The house is in a beautiful location- close to activities, beautiful beaches, restaurants and shops. The house is STOCKED with all of the beach supplies a family could need, including chairs, towels, snorkeling equipment, sand toys, a cooler, and even a wagon to haul everything. The layout of the house was perfect for two families. We would absolutely recommend this property.

We stayed with our children and grandchildren at this beautiful home. The indoor and outdoor kitchens were well set up, and we made many family dinners and were able to eat indoors and outdoors. The home is roomy and very comfortable. The outdoor beach toys and wagon were used daily by our grandsons, and we loved having the beach chairs and towels available at the house for our daily beach trips. Just a beautiful home in a magical place. Scott was great with returning my messages and sent lots of good information that helped us plan our trip. One of our very best family trips. Would absolutely rebook this house!
