Stayed at this cottage 30 years ago as newly married couple. Returned with our 2 young adult children. Continues to be a special place everything was perfect! So happy to spend time as a family here creating new memories. Misty was responsive check in was seamless.
We had a wonderful time in the area enjoying our beachfront and surrounding beaches. The local deli market was highly convenient for breakfast coffee and snacks and other stores were just a short drive away. Lovely amenities like beach towels and laundry were available
The beach cottage is a nice place to enjoy direct beach access and the sounds of surf. The property is quiet and well maintained. The area has some food and activity options within walking or short drive distance. Communication with the manager was very good. Wish we had stayed longer, next time!
We had a wonderful stay at this great property. It is the perfect property for a family of 4. The unit contained everything we needed. The unit is as shown in the photos except that the picnic table has been replaced by a very nice patio set (far better in my opinion). You cannot beat the convenience of the short walk across the yard to the beach. Kailua Beach is a beautiful, long, soft sand, walking beach. You have a great vantage point for sunrises. A pointer: stake out you spot on the beach early on Saturday and Sunday because it can get crowded. It's a slight walk into town, and there is a bus stop very close if you want to take advantage of the public transportation (we took the bus to and from Honolulu). Kalapawai Market is just around the corner. Host, Misty, was always accessible for quick answers to our questions.
The location was perfect and the cottage was well-appointed! I was surprised by how easy the space was to baby proof for our 1 year old.

We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 12 years old) and stayed for a week early November.
The place was perfect and location is great! Kailua is a beautiful safe town where you have shops and plenty of restaurants.
The house is straight on the beach, you just have to walk through the backyard and you get to the sand. Beach is fabulous and clean, perfect for boogie board and swimming. Just sitting and sipping your coffee in the morning and watching the turtles pop their head out of the water was just a dream.
Lanikai beach is also nearby and amazing for snorkeling.
We tried Buzz steakhouse nearby, the pizza place, the shave ice ( all about less 10 min away walk) - all was great !
House is well equipped with all you need. Just come in and enjoy ! Thank you for everything Misty !

Very comfortable cottage.
The cottage was perfect for my sister and me. Kailua is a quiet beach community and we enjoyed the early morning walks on Kailua Beach. It was only a 15-20 minutes drive to the tourist activities, and we had a wonderful time. The property manager responded quickly to our inquiries, and we would recommend this unit to small families looking for a good value with access with excellent amenitities.
This cute cottage is so beautiful and peaceful. Just 60 seconds walk through the property and you are at the beach. Every morning I had my coffee on the beach and it was so amazing. The neighborhood is quiet.
The property fit our exact needs with a nice and quiet location. I would stay again.

This is a great property....so close to beach. Was able to bring in our kite, foil and surf gear and wash off after use. Location can't be beat. Will definitely stay again.

My sister and I had zero complaints about our stay at this cute beach cottage! The photos and description were very accurate. It had everything we needed which included beach towels, comfy beach chairs & umbrella, boogie boards, and kitchen/bath supplies. Beds were also super comfortable and we appreciated having the AC units in the bedrooms. Parking was also very easy.
The walk to the beach was only steps away and we enjoyed relaxing & swimming in the water for a few days! Since it is not right next to the public parking area, it was a quieter section of the beach which was perfect.
We also loved that we could walk to Island Snow, Bob's Pizza, Sunshine Shack, and the cute market nearby.
We definitely recommend this rental if you are looking to stay on Kailua Beach!
