The property
Secluded on over 3 acres and immersed in Kona coffee trees and Macadamia nut trees, your stay will promote tranquility.
At 1700 feet elevation above sea-level, this property enjoys a temperate microclimate year-round. The higher elevation helps keep daytime temperatures down while the custom layout takes advantage of the trade winds to catch the tropical breeze. Nighttime temperatures are also cooler and promote restful sleep.
Enjoy morning serenades of native birdsong & the rhythmic sounds of coqui frogs at night.
The space
The home is spacious and opened, with lots of natural lighting from abundant windows, allowing the tropical breeze to flow.
The home offers comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 8 guests.
• Bedroom 1: 2 full sized beds, access to the lanai and ocean views
• Bedroom 2: 2 twin bunk beds
• Bedroom 3: 1 king bed with master bathroom, direct access to the back deck where the hot tub is.
• Bathroom 2 has a jacuzzi tub and a drying towel rack.
The kitchen is fully equipped with large refrigerator with ice and water dispenser, full sized freezer, gas stove with 5 burners, microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, blender, milk frothier, multiple coffee makers including French press and expresso machine, blender, toaster, and much more. It has everything you need.
The lanai comes with a very comfortable outdoor sectional sofa, coffee table, fire pit, 2 rocking chairs, a big dining room table and a 100-inch screen projector perfect for a movie night while watching the shooting stars.
In the back of the home there is another deck with an inflatable Hot Tub that that can hold up to 6 people and the outdoor Webber grill.

There is a full washer and dryer under the house, and we provide free & clear detergent.
We offer beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, a cart, boogie boards, a big cooler that you can take at the beach with you. Your kids will love all the toys, coloring books, cards, corn hole and much more.
One of the best snorkeling beaches on the island, Kahaluu Beach Park is also only minutes away driving. Magic Sands is few minutes away, Black Sand Beach famous for snorkeling, turtles, and black sand, is approximate 80 min drive.

We absolutely loved our stay on the farm. We wanted to stay out of Kona but close to popular snorkelling beaches and Manta viewing.
The view was outstanding and we spent most of our time when home out on the lanai. The rooms were perfectly arranged for our group of 6 and the beds were very comfortable.
The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need and we used it for all of our meals. There was even an ice maker.
We got to tour the farm and learn about the coffee and fruit trees, and sampled them both. They supplied everything we needed for a beach visit.
I definitely recommend this spot!

It may have spoiled me from ever staying in a hotel again! The kids especially enjoyed seeing the chickens and playing with Kaya. Actually, the adults enjoyed her too!

This is a plantation-style house on a working coffee farm. The higher elevation ensures cool evenings away from the more warm and humid coastal options.
The covered lanai offers great sunset views!

The location is spectacular! Once you arrive and walk up the stairs to the lanai, you see the ocean and the beautiful view that’s all yours. There is a comfortable sectional and two rocking chairs plus an extremely large table for dining. We loved the propane firepit as well! This is all before you even walk in the house.
The kitchen was extremely well equipped not to mention the welcome basket with fresh coffee beans the biggest avocados we’ve ever seen, varietal citrus, and more!
The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious! It was really nice having the washer and dryer to help minimize the clothes we needed to bring.
All of the places we visited on the big island were great, but we always look forward to coming home to our retreat. Our hosts were amazing! It’s a must book!

We were able to have an extended stay here. This is a wonderful property with an amazing view from the lanai. Great location with ease to get the town or to beaches. The sounds of all the animals, from birds to frogs. Our family truly enjoyed our stay at the property. We look forward to returning to enjoy this tranquil retreat.

We had an outstanding stay at Kona Coffee Farm! The place had an incredible view, was spotlessly clean and spacious enough for our group of 5 adults. The host was excellent - leaving us delicious fresh fruits in the kitchen upon check-in and gave us a fascinating tour of the property as well. The stay here was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We can’t recommend this place enough!!

We loved this Place. A unique and peaceful spot to hang if you want a break from the beach and crowds with everything you need to hit the beach. But it was the host, Larisa, that truly made this a favorite among the 100+ places we've rented over the years. SHE IS AWESOME!!

The location of the home was fantastic! Snorkeling, swimming, food trucks, great coffee, and awesome bars minutes from here. Little touches helped a ton like having swim towels, beach chairs and boogie boards was just one less thing we needed to figure out. It fit 4 adults and 3 kids pretty well. There are 4 bunk beds in one room which was great for the kids. You must see if the hosts can give you a farm tour. They had great stories, tons of info about the plants/fruit/coffee, and some fun history too! That was the highlight for us. Bring some bug spray if you’re hiking around their property- but up on the porch the bugs didn’t want to come up that high so all good! The home is on a side of a mountain so be prepared for rougher terrain around the property and a small incline from the parking area to the roughly 10 steps up to the home itself. Overall a great home with great hosts!
