Sealodge E8 offers the perfect blend of classic island charm with modern touches! This intimate and inviting condo features a queen bed, as well as a twin-sized punee (Hawaiian day bed) in the living room that's perfect for sleeping a child if you're a small family. ) as you would like. You'll also be able to take advantage of Kauai's temperate weather by catching sunrises and sunsets on the private balcony lanai, or even whale-watching in the winter months! The sights and sounds of the Pacific will fill every room in the house, making you feel as if you're just steps from the water.
If you somehow tire of watching the waves crashing into the bluffs just outside your windows, you'll find that you're conveniently close to all that the North Shore has to offer at Sealodge E8. North Shore hot-spot Anini Beach, just 15 minutes away, has calm, clear waters, and is great for snorkeling and swimming. The beautiful golden beaches of Hanalei Bay are also just 15 minutes away, and the water is gentle and shallow, great for swimmers of all ages. The charming Hanalei town is right nearby as well, and has all the boutique shops and delicious eateries you could ever hope for! ). If you don't mind a longer car ride, Tunnels Beach is 30 minutes away, and has some of the best snorkeling on the island, and you'll likely spot some Honu (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles) too! 5 miles away, about 5 minutes driving, and has plenty of eating out options for casual dining close to home, plus a Foodland grocery store! Happy hour at Tiki Iniki is a great way to pass the afternoon with a cocktail and an appetizer! If you have activities planned around the island, be sure to budget your travel time accordingly. Drive time to the East Side (where the airport is located) is roughly 50 minutes, and to the South Shore is 75 minutes.
Of course, if you're after a true staycation, the Sealodge grounds have all you need for a relaxing vacation right on the premises! ). You don't even need to leave the complex to have a great beach day either, just hike down to Sealodge Beach, about a 10 minute trek, to enjoy a secluded stretch of paradise with great fishing, great snorkeling, and no crowds! The path can get quite slippery after a rainfall, so make sure to wear appropriate footwear and tread carefully.
As with most homes on Kauai, this vacation rental is NOT air conditioned.
This is an upstairs condo so you need to be able to go up and down one flight of stairs. There are no elevators.
Although this home has internet, the speed and reliability cannot be guaranteed due to the remote location and the service being provided by a third-party.

We had a great time in this place! Beautiful view!! Very close to facilities. It had everything we need it, except enough toilet paper, two rolls for 2 people for 10 days. I called the manager many times with no response. I left two voicemails and finally she called back the next day and said she advised the housekeeper to leave some for us, but the cleaner never did. I went to knock on the managers door with no response. We went and bought some, very expensive in the island.

We always enjoy our time at sealodge. There were some hangups this time but we still enjoyed the stay overall. Hangups were the internet didn’t work in the beginning and took a few back and forth communications to get it going. Biggest disappointment was the dryer had been ruined by a previous guest but housekeeping didn’t notice so we didn’t have a dryer for our 8 day stay.

Great value! We saw whales, sea turtles, and birds from our condo, and we enjoyed magnificent sunrises with the lighthouse in the in the distant background. The condo had beach chairs, snorkels, a small cooler, and beach towels... all we needed for a day at Anini Beach.

The unit is perfect for a party of two and the view is fantastic! The unit is older and could use a little updating, however, the location is both quiet and scenic.
We would definitely return to this property!

We loved the view! Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean right in front of you was amazing. We enjoyed going on the balcony frequently and listening to and looking over the ocean. This is such a nice place to be and everything related to our stay here was amazing. Check out seaside beach too! One thing we wish we did differently would be to spend more time around the condo and relaxing but if we went back to Kauai we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality! All the things for us to use were really nice and made the trip even better!

We have stayed in this Sealodge unit several times. This visit our unit was having kitchen upgrades that were not done by the time of our arrival. Kauai Kahuna was extremely helpful in communicating with and relocating us to another unit. Great customer service. I will definitely book through them again.
