The location and the view from lanai are impeccable, the nearby beach is gorgeous, and the unit was clean, however, we would not choose to go back to this unit. We were a group of 5, but there was not a matching set of almost any plates, bowls, and glasses. The glass door to lanai was heavy (rusted?) and hard to shut, The screen entrance door kept slamming and did not stay shut. There were ants, depending on the time of day, swarming around the garbage bin and the kitchen sink. As someone also from Hawaii, I understand the pests are unavoidable, but just a couple of baits are not enough to get rid of the them.Also, the construction is underway. We were out almost all day, so we were not bothered. But for someone who would like to relax in the unit during the day, it might be a distraction. It is a pity as the unit could have been so much better if there had been a little more TLC.

First of all, this rental is in a BEAUTIFUL location. You can’t beat the views and you are close to the charming area of Hanalei. The rental was clean. However, the bedding in the master bedroom smells like mildew. I switched pillows as the manager advised, but found that all the pillows and pillowcases smelled the same. It did not bother my husband, but it bothered me. The dishwasher did not work as well.
Near heliport for fantastic helicopter ride and spectacular views of the island. Convenient for the challenging hike on the coast, near tunnels for snorkeling etc.
We booked knowing from previous reviews that the interior was dated and tired. The view towards Anini beach and the lighthouse was our priority so we booked regardless of that. We didn't regret our decision. The suite was well stocked, although as mentioned, almost everything was outdated/ tired. The location, grounds, view and convenience were perfect, and the beds were also comfortable. On the first day we reported there was NO cold water coming from the kitchen sink faucet. My partner is a contractor and tried everything he could to fix it, but didn't have the tools. They indicated they would send someone, but even after two subsequent reminders, nobody fixed it over our 6 night stay. The combo of no cold water in the kitchen, a very old small dishwasher, and only 4 packets of dishwasher soap turned dishwashing into more of a problem than it should have been. Ideally a new dishwasher would be good, and more dishwasher soap...but it was disappointing that the rental company didn't seem too concerned about the lack of water. But other than that, we found the space cozy and pleasant for our family of four. It wouldn't take too much money or effort for them to make the unit completely problem free. Wifi is slow for those who need fast wifi to work remotely or stream movies, it won't be sufficient.
This place was perfect for our vacation. The views were amazing. The place was located in a very nice area. It was very handy to have a cooler, beach chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear in the closet. Loved hanging out in the living room with the day bed! We would definitely come back to stay again!
Pros: the views are amazing and the location is awesome. The grounds are well kept and the pool is a nice and refreshing. Access to the private beach can be slippery and muddy but worth it for those who are a bit adventurous. The beach gear was great (chairs, small cooler, umbrella) and we found enough in the kitchen to cook our own meals. There is a BBQ area but it is charcoal only, just fyi.
Cons: the unit desperately needs some updates. The dishwasher racks come off the tracks, the mattresses are old and the pillows were pretty flat. The blinds need to be replaced and some of the furniture has seen better days. Also the TV in the living room didn’t work for us. The WIFI was spotty and many of the outlets don’t work. We reported the broken TV but didn’t hear back from the property manager. Not a huge deal (not hear for TV), but I would have expected a follow up. They did however, provide a backup microwave to replace the one above the oven that is broken. For how much you end up paying, I’d choose a different unit next time.
Nice and roomy place with amazing views. Very clean, well equipped kitchen. Short drive to beach, restaurants and shops.

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. Granted, it's a little dated and a couple of things were "wonky", but the views from every room made it worth it. We trekked down to the beach one day, which was a little hike but beautiful and the beach was fabulous. We enjoyed a day in the pool as well. Waking up to the sunrise every morning offset the lack of a/c (which we knew about when we booked). Overall, a great location and stay!

Ideal location, well maintained, very friendly and helpful staff provided lots of insider tips to make our stay even more fun. Unit had all the "extras" we needed for snorkeling, beach days, and more. Pantry could use some love (there was no salt and pepper), but we were glad to find a bag of coffee in the cupboard! Our only disappointment was that the pool was closed for the duration of our stay.
We loved staying at this property! The view from the apartment is amazing and the location very convenient next to the pool. The 'secret' beach is the best. Getting there can be a bit challenging when it is slippery from the rain, but definitely worth the small hike. We can highly recommend this property!
My family of 4 had a great stay at this condo.
The location was wonderful!!! The view from the condo was gorgeous. We were just a short drive to the lovely town of Hanalei with lots of shops & restaurants along with a beautiful bay. The condo itself was nice. Kitchen, dinningroom & livingroom very pleasant. The downstairs bath leaves much to be desired though with a very small area with a door with the toilet & shower & a small window that opens directly to the walkway leading to other condos so you can't have it open when showerimg or dressing. No other ventilation.The sink area opens directly to the bedroom so if one person wants to get up & get ready before the other, it is not ideal. The lighting over the sink is very poor. The accordion door that separates the bedroom from the main area of the condo doesn't close all the way. The most annoying thing however was the vertical one piece blinds are detached on one end on every window and bang against the windowsill when the windows are open which is all the time since the unit doesn't have air conditioning. Our family really enjoyed the beach by the condos (path, though not easy is right off the parking lot). We even saw green sea turtles there! We would definitely recommend this location!
Nice location and well equipped. View next to shore was great and enjoyed hearing waves at night.
