Our family of four enjoyed a most luxurious and relaxing week at the villa. The property is located in a gated, private community overlooking a bay, and a short bike ride away from Kilaue town. The property itself is incredible, with a big pool, outdoor hot tub, a chef's kitchen and BBQ. The bedrooms and bathrooms were huge and super comfortable. We had access to four electric bikes that we rode into town and a nearby beach. It was an amazing stay!
Wonderful home in a very beautiful part of the North Shore, you can not go wrong. the house was immaculate and in perfect condition. We only wished we could have stayed longer.
The views and atmosphere from this secluded paradise in Seacliff plantation estates is nothing short of magical. We enjoyed spectacular ocean views and many days in the luxurious pool and spa. The house was exceptionally clean, and came with everything that we needed. The house itself is beautiful and you can tell that the owners have put a lot of hard work into it. Located just past Kilauea town, the house is very secluded in a gated neighborhood, while also being very close to town. Being in Kilauea you are on the North Shore and in a good location to explore either side of the island. We will definitely be back!
The accommodation was secure and private with opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife of Kauai from sunrise to sunset. It is truly a place you could easily call home and stay a lifetime.

I have now stayed here twice. The first time, I was the guest of friends who had rented the villa for an extended stay. For the six days I was there, I pinched myself every morning (and noon and night).
I vowed to bring my family back, and a few weeks ago, I did just that. We are, all four of us, still aglow with the experience.
First, there's the house itself. It isn't merely a place. It is a home, with all that that implies. Light floods in from floor-to-ceiling windows, yet from the moment you walk in the door you feel embraced by the home's warmth. Each and every aesthetic touch is done with care and taste, without sacrificing a shred of comfort.
We toggled between going out and eating in, and the kitchen is lovingly equipped with anything a serious cook might need.
The outdoor shower off the master bath turns a routine shower into a sublime, meditative experience. The pool is perfect.
You can sit anywhere in the house and look out at the birds (you'll see not just nēnē and the ubiquitous red junglefowl, but mynas and tropicbirds and others) and the lushness of the Kauai landscape. Dawns are gorgeous. The view from the preserve at the top of the hill can't be beat.
We booked the house many months in advance and it was a seamless experience from beginning to end. The hosts were lovely to communicate with, and Jon, the property manager, was responsive and helpful. Overall, our week here could simply not have been better.

This home is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the North Shore. The owners were excellent to work with and we appreciated having a local property manager (Jon) to greet us and take care of anything we needed. We highly recommend this property if you're looking for a non-resort, private, luxurious experience. We will be back! Mahalo!
One of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in. Incredible views from every room--ocean, mountains, lush vegetation. The house was so clean, it glowed. Well stocked kitchen with some necessities when you arrive, including Nespresso pods. The coolest kinetic sand table that will keep you mesmerized for hours. Beautiful and comfortable furnishings.

I can’t say enough good things about this house, the pictures do not do it justice. From the minute the private gates open you won’t want to leave. Everything is 5-star luxury – the furnishings, bedding, sound system, landscaping. The privacy here will make you not want to stay in a hotel ever again – you have a pool, hot tub, multiple lanais all around the house and the outdoor shower is awesome. The location is perfect, just a short drive to all the north shore beaches without all the crowds of the south shore. We walked to the town many mornings for a coffee and a breakfast stromboli at the bakery and each evening up the street to watch the sunset. We found ourselves coming back to the house earlier and earlier each day just to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. We highly recommend this home, everything was perfect, looking forward to our next visit.

Small touches made a big impression: pristine collector family games, "smart house" with full array of video games and TV sources, orchids surrounding outdoor shower, central and room-controlled A/C, Nene's daily in the front yard, coconuts fresh from the garden (avocados not yet ripe...), gorgeous views from the front porch/windows, short jog/drive to the beach, to the lighthouse and to the pizza parlor, quiet neighborhood for walks (with great sunset views from the cul-de-sac), fantastic kitchen amenities and kitchen space...Would highly recommend.
My wife and I recently returned from a 5 day stay at the Hale nene Villa. From the pictures and online description we expected a lot, yet the property still exceeded our expectations for a beautiful, quiet and relaxing getaway. Walking distance or very short drive to the quaint town of Kilauea for supplies or eating out, and convenient to the other North shore sights and restaurants (Princeville, Hanalei, Na Pali Coast, etc) . That being said, once you arrive at the Villa and walk the beautifully landscaped grounds or sit by the private hot-tub/pool you may not want to leave the property period.
Very tastefully and comfortably furnished/decorated to highlight the spectacular views from every room with a well-stocked kitchen and all of the expected wifi and media essentials for after the sun sets or after you get tired of just sitting by the pool or looking out the window (which you won't).
Excellent communication from the hosts throughout the booking and pre-trip process . Jon the local property manager was very helpful getting us checked in and out, giving us a tour of the house/property, and offering up recommendations for local places to try.
We would not hesitate to book again next time we visit Kauai.
