Glenn was a responsive host and has created a beautiful family home in Kilauea. We had a wonderful stay and created beautiful memories with our family and grandparents here in January. The weather was surreal - blue skies and warm. Perfect to enjoy the thoughtfully designed pool and grounds. We squeezed fresh tangelo juice from the trees and ate a few ripe avocados that fell. Our young boys saw lizards and frogs and enjoyed the local playground. Our nephews enjoyed playing pool, ping pong and seeing turtles as Anini Beach. The local fish market is superb. Everything in reach and an expertly crafted home to rest after hours under the warm sun. We enjoyed the spirit of Aloha here!
We had a wonderful stay. The house was very centrally located and absolutely beautiful. The whole house team was unbelievably helpful in helping us schedule surfing, luau, family photos at the beach, etc. they had amazing restaurant recommendations and were just so accommodating. The grounds the house is on are unreal ! There are so many fruit trees on the property too that we were able to explore. Our family had a very memorable time !
We had a family reunion at this beautiful property and we very impressed with the land, the pool, hot tub, fruit trees, and overall environment. Our host, Glen, was very responsive and the property's concierge, Kimmy, was amazing— super helpful, kind, responsive, and super competent. Thank you Glen and Kimmy!
We had a fabulous time and everything was as advertised or better. Glenn and Kimmy are extremely responsive well organized, and provided all needed supplies from the kitchen to the beach. We had a family of 14 and everyone said it was one of our best vacations ever.
We booked our stay to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our family. This location is just amazing. The house and grounds are just gorgeous and so comfortable and well equipped. Perfect! Our concierge Kimmy was so awesome to work with and the property host Glenn was super responsive to our requests. Highly recommend and we would love to return for another vacation. We were so sad to leave. I highly recommend this property!
The old adage - you get what you pay for. In this case, that's true plus the owner, Glenn, and property manager, Kimmie go above and beyond! The house and grounds are huge. Our family is 11 (6 adults, 5 children), who enjoyed a week in Kauai, minus an abundance of sunshine. However, the house is so fully equipped with everything that you need (my first time experiencing that fact). Usually, as foodies we bring our own knives, but even that wasn't necessary. Ok, maybe the coffee maker could have been better (filters were the wrong size) and that maybe the only "con" I can come up with. Oh yes, the gym building is fully equipped, however, if you're thinking of having someone sleep in that bedroom, forgetaboutit! The pond full of toads will serenade you all night long. Outside of that fact of nature, I cannot recommend this beautiful home enough if you need an "estate," Ke Aloha is fantastic. However, it is really 6 bedrooms, although we used a blow up bed (supplied by the owner) as the toads did their damage the first night on my son and his wife, who tried to stay in the gym house. Otherwise the house has everything. On Kimmie's recommendation we did the Smith Family Luau and the Mountain Tubing, both outstanding activities that I highly recommend.
Incredible, especially for a big, active family (We had 6 boys with us). Our kids liked the space (Everyone had their own room with one on a pullout couch).
The basketball court was used constantly, the pool was great, and the hot tub was nice. Kids played whiffle ball in the yard and picked fresh fruit.
My wife was thrilled with the house, especially the kitchen that had everything you could possibly need, making it feel like a home away from home.
they have great beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, surfboards, and just about anything else you could want.
We didn't get to meet Glenn (Owner), but he was in constant communication and very nice.
While we didn't need it most of the time, it was great to have AC for the few times the wind died down or it got super humid. We stayed at a house without it and it made for a few uncomfortable sleeping nights.....
Overall, it was a great experience.
Thank you for having us!
