Beautiful surroundings for a family get together.
Amazing location and beautiful property. Secret beach is so beautiful. The private trail down to the beach & all the fruit trees was so cool. The fresh fruit was amazing. Love the mangoes in the papayas the best.
This was a repeat of a stay 3 years ago. See my June 2022 review for details. It’s still just as good of a spot. Privacy and relaxation in a beautiful setting. Well appointed and maintained.
Most beautiful property and access to a nice quiet beach. Accommodations were great with beautiful views. Host Jimmy was very accessible when we needed any thing.Loved it and would recommend to everyone
We had a terrific time. The property was private and very clean. The secret beach was breath taking.
Exceptionally clean upon first arriving. Every basic essential you need in the kitchen/bathrooms. This setting is unmatched- with fruit trees right in your backyard facing the ocean and meandering through the orchard down the path to the mostly quiet beach was so amazing! This is definitely not a swimming beach - huge crashing waves while we were here in Feb-March were so thrilling to see, and it’s fine to wade in the shallowest water a bit looking for shells. The big lava rocks were fantastic to see the waves crashing up against them; so picturesque. The grounds were immaculate abs against the orchard aspect was so cool. The path down to the beach does require shoes, and doesn’t take long at all, maybe 7-8 min. Jimmy was my contact and was very attentive and quick to respond for everything from recommendations for the area, to check in procedure. Hopefully we will be back one day and this place will be top of our list to reserve for another stay if possible.
We absolutely loved staying on this 23 acre property with two houses. The walk down to the secret beach through the fruit trees was spectacular! House was furnished with the basics. Property manager was easy to communicate with and allowed us to have a late check out to accommodate our later flight. Hot tub and the secret beach were wonderful. Loved everything about it!!!
My husband and I were debating on a resort or a home for this trip and we are so happy we chose this spot. The houses are great but we really loved the property. Super private and beautiful! Loved hiking through the lush jungle like yard to get to the beautiful and very private beach. Houses had everything we needed. If you are counting on bikes to ride in the description take that off the list cause they were not rideable but besides that everything was perfect.
I don’t want to say too much. I want to keep this to myself it’s so special. It’s not on the beach but it has a spectacular beach and the property is magical. Not for people who don’t want to walk through a jungle. And Jimmy was good at communicating. The listing says bikes, don’t they have any in working order. That’s my only critique. This place does not disappoint! The place has all you need to have an Amazing vacation, wonderful views and friendly management. Would go back over and over again. None of us wanted to leave!
Spectacular views, comfortable high quality furnishings, private access and all the toys you need for the beach, plus all the privacy, peace and quiet you could want amidst a tropical botanical garden. Our second time here, even better than before. Pure paradise.
This is the most spectacular property -- stunning home, beautiful landscape to explore, and unparalleled access to Secret Beach. A truly unforgettable experience getting to stay here. Couldn't recommend it more highly!
I can’t even express how amazingly perfect this property is. My husband, daughter and I stayed in the main house, while my son and daughter in law stayed in the cottage. There was more than enough room for all of us. The views are ridiculously amazing. Both houses were fully equipped with everything we needed. They’ve thought of everything! Jimmy was quick to respond to every question. The property is stunning. Highly recommend!!

Our Family travelled from Los Angeles California and Canberra Australia to stay at this beautiful property. The main house and the cottage were a perfect fit for us, they were both nicely equipped. The beach is beautiful, and we really enjoyed walking and hiking the trail. Located near Kilauea town & lighthouse, it was near some good shopping and a nice small market, it it’s not far from Princeville where a large market is, and also not too a far drive from Hanilei which has shops and a great scenic beach. Take a cruise up the coast to see the beauty of the Napoli coast, it’s amazing! We would definitely recommend the Jungle Bee, it’s an amazing large private property.

The beach is beautiful, and we really enjoyed walking and hiking the trail. Just wanted time as a full family we live coast to coast.
The property was fantastic loads of room to roam. Some rarely left the beach and jungle others traveled the island. Something for all. Our only wish was dinner together and that was easily managed with a large kitchen and full seating for 8. Plus so many options of where we could have it.
The estate was so clean and wonderfully manicured. Just needed the food and our swimsuits. Rest was there.

What an incredible property! We could not have found a more perfect destination for our family vacation. The main house was well appointed and a perfect fit for a portion of our family. My wife and I and our two young kids stayed in the cottage and felt like we had our own little slice of heaven! The view is spectacular and there is no better place to relax than on the cottage front deck or patio.

The property is stunning with a wide variety of citrus, avocado, cacao and other fruit trees at every turn. The walk to the beach is magical in its own right as you traverse the tropical jungle, cross over meandering streams and go through the Cacao tree groves. It’s a 10 minute walk and worth every minute so take your time and enjoy the hike. Secret Beach is just wonderful and with the private access to this sparsely populated beach we almost felt as if we had our own private beach. The surf is high in the winter months but the kids loved frolicking in the waters edge and we spent many hours soaking up the sun and the beauty of this beach!
Our family ranged from ages 9 to 75 and I can say with certainty that this was a trip of a lifetime for all of us. I can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Jungle Bee House and Cottage! We can’t wait to visit again someday…hopefully sooner than later.

The kitchen was stocked well enough to allow lots of cooking and baking for the holidays, and we were just a few minutes drive from a lovely little town and market. All the comforts of shops and restaurants nearby, while we felt complete privacy amongst the trees overlooking the ocean.

The property comes also equipped with its own flock of chickens and a herd of pigs. The chickens are up at dawn the the pigs are out at night. We got snorted at a couple of times at night walking between the houses.
It really is a magical place and I will definitely be back.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at this property again. We are already looking at booking our next trip. We love the privacy this property provides and the unique decor. There are trees on property which we enjoyed picking fruit from and there’s also a private valley that you can hike through to get to secret Beach. I won’t talk too much more about this property lest I not be able to get a date for our next trip :) Also, Jimmy is incredibly responsive and an overall lovely person. Thanks again Jimmy!
This was our 3rd visit to Jungle Bee. We have busy lives and Jungle Bee is a place to unwind & simply experience the extreme beauty that is all around. We managed to leave the property a few nights to take advantage of the great restaurants but mostly we wanted to stay put! The walk to the beach is a joyful adventure each time. You never know what wildlife you are going to see. And Jimmy the property manager will take care of your every need! Love Jungle Bee!
