Only one room had AC. I do think that ac should be moved to upstairs since heat rises. But besides that it was a great place!
Unit was not well maintained, and nothing worked as expected. Inconveniences added up to an extremely unsatisfactory stay.Hard to reach owner even during business hours. A/C is listed as an amenity but it is only in one room and very minimal, the entire stay was very hot. When we arrived the the keypad was dead and we couldn’t access the unit for an additional 2 hours after check-in. We had to call for access to the lock box. The electricity went out in one room and we had to fix it ourselves. The dryer doesn’t work it keeps everything damp no matter how long we run it. Floors were grimy and stained our socks on the first day of arrival. We are happy to be checked out now. This is the worst rental property experience we’ve had.
Location is very convenient. Offered all the space we needed. Great for our family of 4 with older kids. Could have slept more there if needed. End unit and quiet. A bit more dated than we expected. Everything worked except for the internet, but they had that fixed in a couple days. Management communication was easy. The cleaning smell (something that was used on the carpet) was very hard to get used to, overpowering. The AC was only in the primary bedroom but surprisingly the upstairs bedroom wasn’t too bad at all with windows open and provided fan. My daughter did get bit by something in bed (spider most likely, as we did find them in her bed) and is still healing 20 days later. So perhaps just check the beds nightly. All in all it worked for the week we were there.
Great location for day trips all along the coast. Safe area and right across from the pool. Having the Foodland grocery store right up the street was super convenient. The accommodations need a bit of updating as it was pretty outdated and run down but it had all the creature comforts we needed. There have been lots of comments about the loft bedrooms not having AC but our kids were perfectly comfortable with the large fans they had pointed at each bed. We greatly appreciated the cooler, beach chairs, beach towels and snorkel gear made available to us.

This unit was quite spacious for our family of 5! Had pretty much everything we needed. The electronic keypad was hard to see in the dark when we arrived so I kept trying to put the code into the lockbox to no avail. Kitchen is well equipped as well as plenty of towels for showering and the beach. Upstairs was too hot at night for our 15yo so he slept on the couch. Beach chairs were nice to have when we went to Hanalei. Grounds are beautiful!

The condo was spacious, but a bit tired. Kitchen facilities were great. Beach equipment was nice including a cooler. We did not want to move the shutters for fear they would break completely. Not enough chairs at the dining table, we had to bring in 2 from the lanai to seat the 6 of us. KKVR personnel were great and helpful.
We just came back from our stay. The condo is very spacious which worked well for our family of 5. The kitchen was nice and very well stocked with dishes, glasses, appliances, etc. We appreciated having beach chairs and boogie boards to use. The pool was nice and even though we only used it once, we enjoyed it. Garbage and recycling were very close by.
We did notice a bug issue which we found gross! We kept the kitchen very clean and still kept seeing bugs, we also found them in the living room, bathroom and downstairs bedroom. I did make the property manager aware. They stated that the exterminator had treated one day prior to arrival which I’m not sure I believe and would be sent back since I made them aware of the problem. I also noticed that the fans in multiple areas were very dusty. The first time we used the washer, I found a full load of towels and sheets left in the dryer, which then we folded and put away. Many of the windows didn’t close properly and had screens that didn’t seal which I’m sure didn’t help the bug issues. The thing that bothered us the most, were the bugs and seeing all the dust. The downstairs and stairs are carpet which IMO doesn’t work well when dealing with moisture and sand. I also was frustrated knowing how much the cleaning fee was and not feeling like the job was completed well.
This condo has great potential but needs some tlc. I hope that since I did make the rental agency aware, they will address many of the concerns.

For our family of 6 this rental was the perfect size. We loved the plants and animals around the property and the very closed proximity to the community pool. However, we were expecting forced air conditioning...not a single window unit in the downstairs bedroom and fan towers. Parking also became and issue because the complex was under construction and large lifts and trucks had taken up a large portion of the community parking spots. Thank goodness the community manager was a good sport about it all!
We loved how quiet this property is and how close it is to beaches and Hanalei on the North side of the island and pool. We didn't like how parking was difficult due to construction happening in the area and we were expecting forced air air conditioning, not a window unit in the downstairs room and air towers upstairs.
The property manager provided clear directions on checking in/out of the condo which made that process very easy and stress-free. The place was in a great location with a huge craft fair in the complex on Saturdays. The condo was spacious and clean and had a nice patio outside. The only cons were the roof was being worked on by construction workers, so there was a lot of loud banging directly outside our windows and there were small flies coming from the kitchen sink and bathtub drain, but that can happen anywhere and is an easy fix. Aside from those two things, this was an awesome place and I would stay here again!

The property was clean and well stocked. There was problem with the washing machine but the rental company addressed it promptly. We enjoyed the Dolphin restaurant and Postcards, both close by in Hanalei. Tiki Iniki in Princeville has great cocktails.
The first number of days (and nights) were just fine. The last four nights new guests arrived next door. They were loud, rowdy and drinking all night long in the parking lot directly next to the downstairs bedroom (where we were trying to sleep). It was particularly bad the first two nights of their being there. After the their first night of partying ( which started at 2am and did not end until 6am!!) I was able to connect with the manager and was told that they would be communicated with and the problem would not happen again. Well the next night it started up again at 1:30 am and by 3:00 am an argument and fight broke out in the parking lot. This time I called the police. They arrived after the altercation had finished, and the several young men who were involved, had gotten into their vehicles and quickly departed. Things were not as bad the next two night though they still continued to be up and making noise well past the quiet hour of 10 pm. In fact the noise and talking, yelling, clinging of empty beer bottles never began until well after mid-night. The stay in the condo was fine. The issue with the neighbors, and the fact that it kept happening, was terrible.
Our stay was good. There were some discrepancies between the pictures and the listing but nothing that hindered the space from being used. The a/c in the master was nice as we are from AK and arent as accustomed to the heat. The response time was very quick and check in was easy.
