There is beach access directly across the street. We are one mile to Paniau surf beach and 2 miles to Hapuna Beach. The property is nestled between the Mauna Lani Resort and Hapuna State Park on the Big Island. The area behind the house is a Keawe Forrest with views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa off the Lanai. Mani Lani Shops is about 10 minutes drive and the Kings and Queens Shops are about 15 minutes drive where there are restaurants shopping and a bistro movie theater. Puako Beach Drive tidal pools look out to Maui and have the most beautiful sunsets on the island and the perfect place to catch a Green Flash.
