This condo doesn't have any awnings, or retractable shades on the balcony to protect it from the sun and there is no AC. It got super, super hot inside, not possible to stay in and this was a big disappointment. In the afternoons and evenings we wanted to stay in and just relax from a long hike or swimming, to enjoy the view and relax on the balcony, but it was very hot.
Our unit was conveniently located, clean, and comfortable. The dramatic view was something we enjoyed each morning, and we took chairs and wine out each evening to the point to watch the sunsets. We walked to Hideaways Beach and navigated the North Shore well from this spot. The unit is very well appointed and comfortable. Not having A/C was never an issue with the natural breeze and fans available. We didn't need A/C. We would def stay here again.

We were moved to this unit for our final three nights from our selected unit due to a roofing project. While we appreciated the rental companies accomodation, the view and privacy offered at this unit did not compare favorably with our chosen unit. Also, an upstairs master bedroom didn't bode well for sleeping in the heat, even with multiple fans. All in all the rental company did it's best to make the most of an unfortunate situation.

We loved our stay at Pali Ke Kia 244. Great location! We loved snorkeling at the beach just down the path from the condos. Queen's Bath was a short walk away. Hanalei and many other attractions near by. Beautiful views and condo. The only suggestion I have for our condo is a washer/dryer upgrade. The washer is super small- we had to do multiple loads to complete laundry. The dryer wouldn't dry completely on a full cycle of high we had to run the dryer a lot. Therefore, the washer/dryer is not efficient and uses a lot of energy/resources. Other than that, the condo was absolutely perfect. We would stay here again!
We love Princeville for the quiet and slow pace.
We really appreciated the quiet location of this property. Also loved the sound of the birds and the wind in the tree’s outside the bedrooms window. I think the condo could be updated a bit? Stains on carpet and older towels were not great. But we did appreciate the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards available
The view is breath taking. The condo has all you need and more for a comfortable stay in paradise! The binoculars were great for whale and bird watching. The beach chairs and umbrella were another nice thing to have access to.

We had the best time in Kauai, and this was the perfect place for us. Location wise there were many different beaches and many different restaurants close. It was also very nice the house came stocked with beach chairs, snorkling gear etc. it also had a beautiful ocean view, and a short walk to a Hanalei Bay view.
1. Furniture is different in reality than in profile pics and not for the better.2. Lost electric for 4 hours on Monday which isn’t the end of the world but then internet never came back in for the remaining 2 days we were there. 3. Called the manager listed for help, left a message with NO RETURN CALL.
Kauai is always nice to come back too. Princeville is so nice and mellow and has wonderful proximity to Hanalei Bay and points north.Wonderful time together as a family :)
Very nice condo and complex in great location. Only complaint was the Wi-fi was very poor so much so that I could not use my devices other than my phone and that was not great.

The condo was nice except for a few things. We saw two roaches while staying there. One was in the shower. The other one on one of the dressers in the bedroom. The beds weren’t that comfortable. WiFi was horrible! So when it rained and we tried to make other plans it was not easy to go online. Also the iron in the room had wires exposed when we went to use it. The management addressed the iron issue and wifi the following day.
Beautiful spot over looking the ocean. Sunsets and sunrises different each day. Quiet. Close access to Hanalei restaurants and beaches.
