Beautiful views from condo!
Lovely condo, right on the water. Very clean, all the amenities. Quiet, residential (condos, etc) area.
Great views, parking is easy, large unit. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and condiments if you want to cook.

Was an amazing experience staying in Kauai and the Poipu Makai apartment was incredible. The ocean view from our balcony was stunning and we didn't want to leave. Everything was in order, and we look forward to visiting again soon.
Cannot beat the location and amazing views. The lanai has two areas for relaxing and enjoying the views. It is a short walk to the beach and easy drive to many great restaurants, shopping and Koloa Town. Wonderful ocean breezes throughout the unit (no air conditioning). Noise was a factor with upstairs guests having a toddler and infant. Overall it is a very comfortable unit with a convenient location.
Great location! Beautiful view. Overall we loved our stay. A tad outdated. Tight parking. Lots of stairs made it a little difficult with luggage.
The view from the balcony is incredible. We enjoyed wonderful sunsets in the evening and saw numerous whales, dolphins and turtles during the day. You have an amazing view all the way down the coast, and you can even see the Spouting Horn in the distance. It is within walking distance of Poipu Beach where we saw the green turtles come up on the beach each evening. The inside of the condo was even nicer than what was shown in the photos. For instance, the online photos show a very old-fashioned TV so we were pleasantly surprised to see a modern Smart TV, instead. We were worried that the lack of air conditioning would be a problem, but we found a nice cool breeze came through the windows and we were comfortable. Occasionally the noise of the footsteps in the condo above us were annoying but not enough that it would deter us from returning for another visit. The property managers were very helpful when the condo complex had planned maintenance that would have impacted our visit. Although it was fairly easy to pick up and return the keys my preference would be a lockbox or secret code so that we would not have had to drive first to the management company to return the key when we were headed to the airport. However, this place was so wonderful we hope to return someday.

The cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in with one of the most spectacular views! It’s located in a private, quiet area, and we spent many peaceful hours on the balcony. Everyone we called or interacted with (check in, maintenance) was super kind, helpful, and responsive. If we ever have the opportunity to come back to Kauai, we would stay here again!
Property is one of the best locations in Poipu with 8 - 10 minute walks to both Poipu beach and Shipwreck. Marine life everywhere you look out the back of the Condo...Whales, Turtles, Dolphins, etc. Location just cant be beat. Unfortunately the Condo is dated and needs a bunch of upgrades/repairs. Lights in both bathrooms (corroded and dirty, these are 200 dollar items at home depot...get new ones already!!) Washer (rusty and the dial is seized up) Curtains over washer are dirty and worn out, Windows/sliding balcony door (Worn out and hard to open and close) One lamp in Master bedroom doesnt work, Electric Stove/Oven is very old and was dirty when we checked in. Under cupboard light cover by the microwave falling off constantly and is faded and warped, the coffee table book and map are old, tattered and dirty (Dining guide is from 2020), The electrical outlet/box in the second bedroom is rusted. Place needs paint inside and out. Wish I could post pictures in the review. Management company for the Condo (Kauai Vacation Rentals) are excellent (10/10) with great communication during booking, payment, etc. with easy pickup and drop off of keys and info at their office in Lihue. Its a shame that the owner wont maintain the property and spend money on overdue repairs and upgrades it could be a nice place.

The view is incredible. You can just see turtles all the time in the water below, we also managed to see dolphins and whales.Otherwise the apartment is really dated. Bathrooms lack ventilation and bathroom located inside one of the bedrooms didn't have functioning door. It does have curtain. So yes, location and especially the view are incredible. Otherwise ok.
